People of Yemen have been enduring missile explosions almost every night for the past six months. Fires caused by aggression airstrikes don’t stop and millions are expected to die at any moment.
“Yemen after five months looks like Syria after five years,” said Peter Maurer, the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). War is not on our television screens, though. We do not have fuel for electricity and airplanes have destroyed our TV stations.
The brightness of airplane bombs has stolen the calmness of our nights, while our days are lost between the search for normal life and the sound of rockets. How much longer should we keep sending pictures of bomb clouds painted in love colors? How much is needed for the world to see our suffering? We fear the world can’t hear us.
