Content creator Kristina Zias is a size XL/XXL, and she's on a mission to find clothes that are the right fit for her. To help other women navigate the complex maze of apparel sizing, Kristina also shows off how she looks in the pieces she buys. This often comes in the form of comparing the outfit with her friends who have different body types.
Together, they shop at Zara, Aritzia, and other popular places, and the contrast of the finished look, even though they're supposed to give off the same vibe, often shows that the same clothing can appear differently on various body types.
Every now and then, Kristina receives a mean comment, but she doesn't let the nasty words get to her. "The only way you can become more confident is by embracing your insecurities," Kristina says in one of her TikToks. "For me, I've always been so insecure about my stomach. And then I realized, 'Guess what? I can show up in a low-rise bikini, let my belly hang out, show my stretch marks, and the world is not going to end.’ And if anyone has a problem with my stomach, well f**k them. That says a lot more about them than me."
Most of the reactions to her videos, however, are positive, with many thanking Kristina for representing them and speaking up about the struggles of clothes shopping.

I am amazed at how good the XL sized clothes look, but then model is a beautiful woman.
I hate the pants on the XL girl. The waist isn't long enough, adds a weird V by her crotch. Change the pants and this is a great style for any size
Don't be like Ross and use baby powder and lotion to get them off if they get stuck. It will turn into a paste
This outfit does not seem to compliment either of these beautiful women. So far they have looked amazing in everything.
I don’t know where they live that determines the sizing. In Canada there is no way she’s an XL or size 14-16. More like XXL at the least and 18-20 more realistic. Nothing wrong with that. Just be honest about the size. My only complaint is that here, you can’t find stylish clothes in those sizes. Just because were plus size doesn’t mean we should be punished with crappy styles.
And the length! it's not just the horizontal size that has to increase, crop tops and short skirts are one thing, half showing underboob or a*s is another
Load More Replies...Why is every comment about whether or not they look good??? The entire point of the post is to illustrate how every body is beautiful and confident in everything... instead we just have like everyone dissing them in the comments saying they look trashy?? You guys have completely missed the point of this
I don't think that this is necessarily about how every body is beautiful is. Sure they are! But imp it's more about how different outfits look on different body types. Just because you provide some clothes in bigger sizes they don't have to look good. But also not every xl sized person has necessarily the same body shape. Same goes with xs or whatever sizes. Seeing this makes me being aware of there are certain styles I could wear but never have thought of. ETA: I would be livid if my friends would say something looks great on me just to be polite when in reality it's unflattering as hell.
Load More Replies...I don't get the idea behind these type of posts? Why is it important to fit into the same outfit at different sizes/shapes? Most body shapes tend to look/feel their best in outfits that match their shape and personality of the one wearing it. No, I don't mean as in "flattering" or "more coverage" (or similar anti-fat) - just something that flows with your body and personality. I see no harm in being different and see that as something to celebrate- not feeling the need to fit in everything (size or style). But I mean, if they like it it's fine I guess.
The problem is that the model with a larger size is proportionate because she's tall. I'm her same size and much shorter. It doesn't work as well
Me too. I could never wear these stomach-skimming tops like she can. I need to wear tents.
Load More Replies...Lol idk I’m thinking the same thing tbh 😂
Load More Replies...I'm a guy and not into styles and the whole size thing drives me nuts. I can't imagine what it's like for women. I would be happy if they would create a bureau of standard for clothing so get exactly what you order. And what is up with clothing companies not making clothes tailored to large women? There are more and more large people so it would make sense to cater to them just from a profit standpoint!
As a woman who has to buy xl tops and dresses, my biggest issue has always been that they don't account for breasts when sizing up. Crop tops fit like sports bras, button ups, don't button up top, and dresses either hang like a sack or give me quadroboob. I'm usually left wearing tee shirts, because everything else fits so poorly. Just making it exactly the same, but wider doesn't work on real people. It needs to be longer at the waist.
Although I admire the larger girl's confidence, I would never want my fat belly showing by wearing a crop top. And yes - she's more an American 16-18 (1x), than a 14-16 (XXL). Some of them were really cute, but again - not with belly showing. It could just be my age, but we were taught not to flaunt it.
Next season the 12 size will be 2x plus side and 0 will be medium size. And it's me or the lady on smaller clothes has somewhat of enanism or something
