I been with my husband for over 15 years we have 3 kids together. He was a social drinker but the last couple Of years, he’s become an excessive drinking tonight. We went to my in-laws for a birthday party. He had a bunch of beers. He thinks he can drive better than me when he’s drunk. I had to get on my phone the GPS to get back home. he got mad at me for being on the phone and he started screaming at me in front of the kids. I told him he didn’t have to scream at me that I was sitting right next to him. I’ve been putting up with him and he’s drinking for too long already, but I noticed he becomes violent not physically but verbally when he drinks and I don’t wanna deal with that anymore. I don’t wanna see that anymore. Kids started crying, if I leave him I know he’ll blame me, but if I stay, the kids and I will continue it for his behavior. I don’t know what to do

If he's not willing to address this behavior, by all means figure out the exit plan for you and your kids and get outta there

If he can’t regret his behavior sober and wants to improve, you should definitely leave. I think it’ll be worse if you stay.

He's an alcoholic and should never be allowed behind the wheel of a car again. He'll kill himself, or you, or some innocent bystanders.
