Woman Goes Viral For Her Demonstration Of How Eating Affects The Way You Look In Different Outfits
Clara Guillem from Nashville, Tennessee, is 24 years old but she's already become a body confidence role model to hundreds of thousands of people. And this series of videos is the perfect reason why.
"I remember I was in the car driving somewhere and I started thinking about how people only show outfits when they feel like their stomach is flat," Guillem told Bored Panda. "I was thinking about a video I saw that said people see a flat stomach as an accessory and decided it would good to show how cute outfits are still cute after you nourish your body!"
Posing in the same clothes before and after a meal, Clara has posted numerous TiKToks celebrating her 'food babies' and has successfully proved time and time again that a full belly is a happy belly. Bon appétit!

This is so cute and I'm fine as hell, obviously, but my appearance is the least interesting thing about me. I have so many other amazing qualities, but those are suppressed when I'm hangry.
Mm-hm, yup... 10/10. 11/10, extra point for the carbs in my stomach
Just sucking I. Her stomach and letting it out. Or photoshopped. Every picture.
As you can probably already tell, Guillem is super confident in her own body, which is quite inspiring not only on social media but in real life too. The good thing is, it's contagious. Amy Slater, an associate professor at the University of West England, Bristol, published a study in 2017 where 160 female undergraduates viewed either "fitspiration" (images that feature beautiful people doing exercises, or at least pretending to), self-compassion quotes, or a mix of both, all sourced from real accounts on Instagram. Those who viewed only "fitspiration" scored lower on self-compassion, but those who viewed the compassionate quotes (for example, "You're perfect just the way you are") were nicer to themselves – and felt better about their bodies.
If you happen to be having a hard time enjoying food, please remember that that's totally okay. Food can be so enjoyable, but ultimately, it's there to serve your body a purpose.
Photo 1- straight back shoulders. Photo 2- slouching. And is anyone else wondering why her stomach is hanging low like that? I mean, your stomach--YOUR ACTUAL STOMACH--is higher up, right under your diaphragm, not hanging low down where your intestines are. While she is trying to make us all feel good about ourselves, she is also exaggerating her 2nd photos in each one. Good posture can make anyone look slimmer, and when you slouch, the opposite. Nice try though.
This is what outfits look like on me before and after a full day of eating. And let me tell you, that was good for my body, it was good for my mind, it was good for my soul...
The one on the right looks a little less green? Is that just me? Maybe it just wore down bc it's a long time. idk
But it wasn't always like that. "The relationship I've had with my body used to be the absolute worst it could be," Guillem revealed to Bored Panda. "It took many years of actively trying to heal to get to this point. It doesn't happen overnight! One main thing I work on is positive self-talk and affirmations. Every time I have a negative thought, I say the opposite out loud."
Clara's advice for everyone who is also trying to become comfortable in their own skin is to be patient and kind to yourself. "The fact that you're willing to start a journey towards self-love is already the first step. It means you're ready to put in the work."
You know the drill, outfits on me before and after I eat, and I wanna let you guys know that I make these videos because a lot of people avoid eating just to prevent this, which is normal and should be celebrated. Woooo, party in my belly!
What did she eat a whole turkey? A normal amount of food cannot do this.
Happens to me a lot and yes some foods do cause more bloating
Load More Replies...apart from the actual different posing that exaggerates the belly, it's the clothes. if you're so concerned about it, there's nothing wrong with wearing a cute oversized sweater/hoodie when you want to go out and eat without worrying about looking bloated or being judged. that's what I would do. but if you like tight-fitted clothes, want to wear just them and have no problem looking bloated, you go girl. it's that simple
It's been a big week for this series in the press, so hey you there, if you're watching these all the way through, you know that that's the first step to self love because you've already decided that you deserve to feel good today
No hate, but you're slouching in the 2nd picture. Stand tall, there might be a difference.
However, Guillem highlighted that she doesn't think her content belongs under 'body positivity', just mental health and body image. "Body positivity exists to give those in marginalized bodies a voice and is a political movement. When referring to content like mine, please use the terms confidence or self-love!" she added.
#2's about to make me act uuup... Still fine as hell, just a little less hangry
Hey bestie, welcome back to outfits on me before and after I eat. This one's cute, but my ass is like, kind of hanging out. Looking good and feeling good, thank goodness for tacos!
Now, I love my appearance. However, I love my sense of humor more. And honestly, I'm not very funny when I'm hangry and yelling at everyone.
Her pants are worn high-waisted in 1, but in 2 she just has them closer to her hips.
You know, our bodies do so much for us, and we let people make money off of us hating them? Uh-uh. Not anymore
I'm choosing this dress because I know I'll be able to show off my cute happy belly later. Can't get much sexier than respecting my own body!
На первом фото обычная блогерша позируюшая для красивого фото а на втором очень сексуальная девушка с большим милым животом
I'm gonna show you guys what outfits look like on me before and after a big meal, so this is outfit #1. There is nothing better than being able to see how well I nourish my body.
Good morning, this is outfits on me before and after I eat, except for this first outfit, I'm gonna show you what happens when I drink a truckload of water. Um... I got distracted by food and forgot to film after the water, sooo...
Oh for goodness sake, give us a break child! Any of us can slouch and stick out our bellies whether we've eaten or not. Sheesh!
All bodies are beautiful, but... all bodies are worth more than just their beauty. See you next time!
I read a quote today that says you can't live a full life on an empty stomach, and I love that. Bye, I love you!
This is what I'm wearing out to dinner... [Friends: With us!] I'm hot, but much more importantly... I'm happy.
In every single instance in the before pics she's standing up straight, shoulders back and the photo is taken at from the side. In the after pic, she's slumping, shoulders forward and the photo is taken from a 3/4 angle. I think she could suck in her stomach easily on the befores and just let it all hang out on the afters. She could have been a good food advocate, but she blew it.
I hope y'all are starting to hear my voice in the back of your head after you see how well you nourished your bodies instead of all of that negative self talk
I could fire a man in this outfit. Speaking of which, our brain uses the most glucose, so food is actually responsible for your happiness, creativity, intelligence, that cute smile on your face...
Yup, welcome back to outfits on me before and after I eat. Might have to hide that. This is cute, but it's already super tight, so I don't know where this is gonna go. It went to heaven after downing some vegan chicken nuggets. That's where it went.
Well, 2 photos would've been enough. Also, it's more pose than food. The before are all breath held in, body turned away, and after is let it hang, turn to camera, slouching.
Shoulders back before, slumping forward after
Load More Replies...Hunged forward in the second and also lowering the top of her high rise waist.
Load More Replies...So she takes one photo where she's half side to the camera, standing up straight, and sucking in her gut, and looking up....then she takes another while she's slouching, squinching her chin down, facing either straight on (the most UNflattering angle) and she's pretending there's some huge difference?
Yeah, I'm not sure why she's pretending that she ate 6 liters of food and that's what's causing the body shape difference. Everyone knows that humans have the ability to suck in... or push out their gut.

Load More Replies...I am always for posts that promote healthy body representation, but I have to agree with you 100% here-- it looks like a pure post for attention. Can we honestly get rid of of Influencers?
Load More Replies...Not for nothing, but the before and after for most of these, shoulders are back before, and rolled forward after. Good posture makes everyone look slimmer.
Woman takes pictures sucking in/pushing out tummy. There. Headline is fixed.
Wow, who would have thought that you look slimmer when you stand up straight and vice versa? I’m not entirely sure this is a good thing. A good message, but the fact that it’s fake makes it seem disingenuous.
this is what IBS and intolerances do to me. I go from flat stomach to looking 6 months pregnant and bloated all over. It doesn't matter how much or how little I eat. It's not pleasant and I wouldn't wish it on anyone
suck and push, angle, and shoulder positions its all fake.🙄🙄
The "after" pics are all just poor posture on her part, and it really pisses me off that she's done this - there are a lot of people who have IBS, Crohns, and other medical issues that cause them to look like this & there's nothing they can do about it. She's an attention whore.
So, when we eat, we have a full belly? Seriously, Bored Panda staff, stop with this TikTok nonsense. Can't you see that people don't like it?
I could do many pictures like this also, without eating or drinking anything. Pictures on the Left: Shoulders back, Chest out, back arched and stomach sucked in. Pictures on the Right: Shoulders slumped, Chest lowered, back relaxed and stomach pushed out.
I never look slim before and pregnant after I eat. Either she has .006% body fat, or she's an Anaconda-Woman (don't ask about meal #8); or I call schenangans.
While these photos might be slightly exaggerated, they’re just freeze frames from a video. And this does happen to people. I’m a bigger girl but I know that first thing in the morning, I look slimmer and I can fit into one of my smaller pairs of jeans. After a full day of moving and going, and eating throughout the day, I’ve bloated (which is what she’s showing) and can no longer fit in those jeans.
Exactly! She moves around more in the videos so it’s not so posed
Load More Replies...Hey! I'm making it look like I "ate" or "did not eat" right now! Instant transformation! *continues sticking out my belly and pulling it back in* Glad to know all I have to do is have bad posture and it is the same as eating. All those hours in the kitchen wasted LMAOOOOOO
I mean, annoying influencers aside. My gut does look like that a lot, especially after eating. I have a huge fear people will think or ask if I'm pregnant, it happened to me on Facebook. I do not want to be pregnant and even the thought freaks me out.
This is more of a demonstration of sucking it in vs not sucking it in.
I didn't look at anything after the first photo and that was only because it is the first thing to pop up BULLSHIT. She just pushes her stomach out. The photos were taken moments apart. Hack!
