As a creative portrait photographer my day to day job involves capturing the personalities of characters in unique art images commercially.
I got bored of looking at pictures of animals looking like they are inanimate objects when they have as much, if not more, personality as humans! So I had a go myself, and here's what I came up with...

without photoshop and with a little knowledge of animals (like the "cat" who feel terrible in a pit), this would be great. so continue your job, taking pictures and photoshop it a loooooooooong time: GREAT JOB!
These were fantastic captures! They were certainly a lot more lively than the usual captures. Great job!
The photos are beautiful, granted. But.. there is a whole lot of filtering going on here. Nothing wrong with that but the pitch at the beginning saying other animal photos are boring, is untrue- these have been digitized further and so have an additional attraction- that doesn't make other animal photography boring, just more real.
Boring..... Because they capture animals lives in the same way as other photos do. So if you call others' jobs boring, here you go. But a little tip: if you want to make something greater than others have already done, don't start by woefully underrating your colleagues' hard work. That will only give something away about you...
These photos are so altered, filtered, and messed with that they don't really qualify as "photography". Good photographers can get amazing images with a Polaroid if they have to. Back to the drawing board. As an exercise, take NO digital images for a year.
I don't think the fact you think some are photoshopped makes them look any less magical
