I Create Collages And Even I Get Mesmerized By Looking For All The Gems Embedded In The Finished Works (25 Pics)
I fiddled around with art for about 10 years before finding collage and realizing this was MY medium. They're like hidden pictures for adults; even I get mesmerized by looking for all the gems embedded in the finished works!
I use repurposed paper from innumerable sources - old textbooks, vintage letters, children's books, maps, etc. The large bear below is 4 feet by 4 feet and took me about 40 hours to complete.

Beloved Cat
I live in the Blue Ridge mountains in Northeast, GA, otherwise known as "The Trout Capital of Georgia."
Art has always been a relaxing hobby of mine until I decided to sell my wildlife collages about a few years ago. So far, I've mostly done wildlife, though I've done landscape and a couple of pets as well. I plan on expanding in time!
Rooster
Red Cardinal
Each collage has thousands of pieces taken from lots of other sources like maps, old vintage books, textbooks, magazines, vintage letters, notes, etc. I can't pass by any bit of paper that I stumble upon without thinking about where I could use it. Every piece reflects some sort of history. Every collage is unique because it's created with different paper pieces and hundreds of individual cuts.
Whitetail Deer
Black Bear
This one has lots of hidden creatures. There's a lizard in his nose and a wolf right above it, a rabbit in his snout and an owl between his eyes, sort of to the left, there is a loving couple off to the left and an elderly couple sitting at a table towards the right above his eye, a gorilla snout and gorilla eyes placed separately on the left, as well as an upside down hippopotamus, and a trail of men on horseback in his snout and two sets of legs in the background.
You are a genius. In following you so I can check out other posts.
Load More Replies...Thank you! Doing the eyes is the most satisfying part!
Load More Replies...Besides creating collage art, I also write fantasy and non-fiction books for readers of all ages. I've already released some books that you can check out by clicking here if you're interested! "The Worlds Next Door" is my first middle-grade book that I am very excited about. It tells a story about a twelve-year-old, Janie Rutland, that decides to investigate an abandoned house next door and finds something completely unexpected!
Rocky Beach In Gdynia, Poland
Bear
Duck
It's hard to pick a favorite. This little about-to-take-flight duck hasn't had anyone talk about his handsomeness. I will happily say, I like the duck, the best! :)
Crab
Bull Moose
Dragonfly
Great Horned Owl
Rainbow Trout
Moose
Cow
My Second Collage Landscape
Cat Molly
Eagle
Blue Heron
Really gorgeous work. I would have no idea that this was a collage--all the colours and shapes are so amazingly well-blended.
Fox
I really love this one. It makes me think of a traditional wood-cut print.
Longhaired Chihuahua
Moose
Rooster
Deer
Trout
These were so wonderfully done. Many of them look like watercolour or coloured pencil works. You definitely have an eye for colour!

Not only is your art beautiful but your creativity in picking this medium! What a wonderful way to help our landfills and bring us eye candy! Thank you C.E. White :) Your artwork is truly a delight :)
You should publish a how-to book for people to alleviate their trash and their strass by making collages. :D
I'm real late to this party. Still, I want to upvote the artist of these spectacular works. Quite stunning!
