I was really curious about people’s wallets, but it’s not about their money. I’ve noticed that many people carry photos in them. When someone pulled out the wallet I asked if there was a photo. I was wondering why people carry photos in their wallets, so I decided to make a project about that. Photos about photos… in wallets.
I found people of all ages who hold photos in their wallets and asked them why they do that. The answers were different and surprising. Some people admitted that they haven’t thought about that. One man even forgot that he has a photo in his wallet. It was a picture of his ex-girlfriend. He tore up that photo standing next to me.
