Good man. We all make mistakes, some more serious than others. But this man did his time and paid his dues. He deserves a fresh start.

They definitely have feelings and can read ours too! Reminds me of this one time I was having a heated argument with my parents, involving screaming back and forth. There was a coffee table in between us. My cat who was sleeping in a different room walked in, got on the coffee table and started crying/screaming loudly while looking at me. She’s never been that loud and she definitely has never done something like that before. Her screams were so effective that we actually stopped arguing and ended up totally distracted discussing her unusual behaviour. I’m not sure if she was “saving” me thinking I was in trouble or saving my parents but it sure did work!

I honestly believe most children need a pet. It teaches them so much, and not just about things like responsibility, but about unconditional love.

I am not the colour of any plaster. I demand a milk bottle white plaster to feel included

Me too! That's why I prefer colored plasters or ones with Mickey Mouse, Pokémon, etc.

And sometime ago Crayola stopped calling a crayon color "flesh." I think they just call it beige now. Frankly, I never met anyone of any skin color who matched that crayon.

Crayola renamed it "peach" in 1962 but other brands continued to use "flesh" for decades longer. Prisacolor didn't change it until 1987.

In 65 years I' ve only seen odd pink bandaids. Now there are transparent ones too. Whenever possible I use the ones designed for kids, much more fun!

When we got the 1st dark-complected bandaids in our local little pharmacy in the very late eighties, they sold out in 2 days. Really hit me hard as a young & dumb 20yo to see an elderly woman buying them with tears in her eyes...

Took a minute for me to locate the bandaid. It blended in so well with your skin tone!

I have always wondered why they had just that putrid beige color. They now have 3 darker colors so they match real people better.

Of course, they could just be plasters and they made them whatever colour was easier. They made them a generic colour. It's not like they don't stand out against white skin is it? Why does everything have to be turned into a political or race argument.

I've seen this meme before, and there were many people in the comments that just ... didn't get it. They went off about standard-color band-aids not matching white peoples' skin, so what's the big deal. —— When I saw this meme reappear here, I thought to myself, "Hey, I wonder if people are starting to get it now, and maybe they won't — uhhhh, nope, some of them still don't get it."

It's about time some one had a thought and acted on it. I saw the skin-toned bandaids in Walmart and thought, what took them so long to do this?

I love this as I've seen it before! Yes it matters as to what skin tone a plaster or huge plasters are/is... Because? If you've a huge medical plaster on your arm, for example, where you cannot hide it and everyone sees it? It can be embarrassing, people don't always want to have to be put in the position of being asked horrible questions about - "What happened?"... It's none of your business, is what happened 👍🙂

Look, I love that there are now a wider variety of matching skin-tone band-aids. But if you've got a huge bandage on your arm, and it's not covered by your clothing, it doesn't matter what color it is, or how well it matches your skin tone. People are going to see it and ask questions.

Crows recognise those who are kind and will bring them little gifts. If you're nasty to a crow you'll have a whole gang of crows out to get you.

Yes and....why is 29 cents a barrier? I'm not going to dismiss the your person's actions, it's incredible. But the library system should be ashamed.
