Hi Pandas! I’m back with the 6th update (part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5) on my comic, Pink Reaper. These comics continue to feature a mix of cuteness and heartfelt moments. There are plenty of returning characters below, along with some new friends too. Plus, as a bonus, I’ve included some Dream Skimmer comics, where I illustrate (and animate) people's dreams! Any long-time readers will know about the Dream Skimmer character, but might not know that I post these comics on a separate account so thought you might want a glimpse at those, too.
If you like these comics and would like to see my whole archive, along with longer stories that don’t work as well on BP, you can find me on Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Webtoon, Tapas - all the usual suspects!

Please tell me I'm not the only one who thought the little path behind the bird while it landed was a hair on my screen
While I'm always aiming to post a new comic every week, readers can also look forward to a bigger release coming later this year. I've made a few zines in the past but my next one will be much longer, basically a full comic book! These longer-form stories are really fun for me to tell and, hopefully, you will enjoy the next one when I start posting that weekly around September/October. I've also started dabbling in short stories that continue to expand the world of the comic. Not sure how that will work on social media, but keep your eyes open for when/if those land!
Oh so that's why he has two metal hands... we probably should get this higher to match the other one
It's been great to see the positive responses to the Pink Reaper universe expanding. The comic had humble, meme-y origins but it's been incredibly fun for me to take my characters and create whole lives and plot arcs for them that slowly get drip-fed into the comics. There's definitely a map of how everyone overlaps and impacts the shared world of the comic and I can't wait to show everyone. I just wish drawing didn't take so long so I could share it with you faster!
I hope while reading, that first and foremost, everyone is entertained. This comic is meant above anything to make you smile or give you a sense of comfort. But I do also want there to be a compelling story that readers can follow through each comic, even if sometimes it's very subtle. The reason for this is because I've observed that the stories that have moved me most are often comedies with a heartfelt ending. I think it might be something to do with the sense of security we get when we're smiling, so we let our guard down and then it's so easy to be moved to tears when that comedy flips the script and makes you really feel something. A recent example might be the film 'Everything Everywhere All At Once', or people might remember that moment from The Office when Jim helps Michael say his goodbye. Oof, that gets me every time.
Meanwhile on earth all of the things people said would happen when hell freezes over are: chaos ensues
Ultimately, I'd like to give my readers that range of emotions. Don't get me wrong, Pink Reaper is a goofy character but I also see them as someone surrounded by drama - something the 'Quest for Hugs' story arc explored. I think if readers step away from my comic feeling both entertained but also affected, I'll have communicated exactly what I intended to. I'd love to find even more visceral ways to tell the Pink Reaper story in the future. Maybe there are some readers with connections in animation... I think that's where the story could shine brightest ;)
I'd be lying if I said that Pink Reaper didn't reflect some aspects of myself. The loneliness, the desire to understand the people around them, as well as the silly jokes of course! But what's been very special for me as an artist is not only the opportunity to express myself, but also to connect with readers who find something in the comic that deeply resonates with them.
I have been pleasantly surprised by how much Pink Reaper has related to people and I think that is perhaps because they are such a blank slate - they are genderless, raceless, and pretty much impossible to categorize. This has led to me meeting so many different people at conventions who relate to the comic for a variety of reasons, it's truly a special feeling to be able to share this with so many people. I hope you all know how grateful I am for each and every one of you.
That lamp seller did sound suspicious, I shouldn’t have trusted him…
Is it just me or does dat rainbow thing in first panel look like an among us astronaut
Who wants to bet they chew on something they shouldn't?
Unless this is after the death touch is removed… in which case I want to hug!
