I have a job, and I’m in a band on the side. But we work really hard writing all original music, so it’s nearly like a another job. I have no idea what to do to just unwind. What do you do?

A lot of times I will play my drums, but since that is what you deal with a lot, it might no be best for you. I like to take some time outdoors and relax while watching and listening everything around me. Nature is fascinating.
Funny thing, walking used to be my go to meditation. I’d walk for hours. Loved it. The city, the burbs, the woods, anywhere. Now my wife and I own and operate a small dog walking business, and at the end of the day the last thing I want to do is walk anywhere!
Depression
I don’t consider depression my hobby. It’s more like a core part of who I am. Like my heritage is Norwegian/English/depressed.
Cycling, reading books, opening every thing that uses electricity, get slapped by my sister, invent useless ideas like penfan; injection water, making 2D pixel animation, make 3D blockbench renders

I’m a graphic designer - was my dream job. Now I can’t wait to get home a spend time in my garden growing vegetables and watch flowers bloom.
