kid in my class was asked how many sides a triangle has and said "four??"
like wdym four you f*****g dumbass
The sun is a planet. A fully grown 40 something year old man argued this with me for an hour.
"Isn't Hawai'i the 51st state of America?" They thought Washington, DC was a state.
"Chicago is the capital of Illinois." No, it's Springfield.
I live in the USA...
Well, I think people who make fun of others because they don’t know stuff are some of the worst kind of stupid. There is an awful lot of stuff I don’t know, but that shouldn’t be something you should make fun of me for. You don’t know everything either but that does not make you stupid.
Someone in my social work class (it’s graduate level so we’re all trying to be therapists as the end result) said they don’t believe in diagnosis or medication bc neither are necessary. They admitted they’ve never been diagnosed with a mental health disorder nor have they needed medication for their mental health. Like duh it’s easy to say they aren’t necessary if you’ve never experienced these situations. Like maybe talk to people who have experienced these things, find out why a diagnosis / medication are important for them.
Like for me until I was diagnosed with PTSD I felt like I was loosing my mind, after that I felt relieved that there was a name for what I was feeling and that I wasn’t alone. It also helped in figuring out which treatment was best.
Medication also helped me be able to function, without it I would not be doing as well.
