When the doctors told me to say goodbye to my son, who was on life support. But, they were wrong. He fought with all he had to come back. After two years and a kidney transplant, he is doing well. He's my hero.

I'm so sorry about what you and your family had to go through. I hope you're ok now 🙂

[Trigger warning] So, I was 12.. and really depressed and I got to the point of where I ended up taking an entire bottle of over-the-counter pain pills in my bedroom. I went to bed earlier that night with my stomach turning and woke up a few hours later to throw up. I'm fine now, 3 years later, but now whenever I'm around pills, I am terrified until I can get away from them. No one really knows about it but me.

Same. I had a large Ziploc bag full of Oxychloride I was going to take all at once with antifreeze. Thank God a friend noticed and got help. No one in my family knows I came that close to ending it all. So, know how it feels

my sleep paralysis demon is terrifying, my dad was trying to swat a a yellow jacket away from me with a saturated edge barbecue flipper which broke and split open my head generally thought I was a goner you could see my skull according to my family, being evacuated due to fire, having a man in a big van pull up when my bestie and I were on a walk down her road could clearly see he had a gun and he kept asking why we were there, and if we would come with him we ended up running into the closest house a nice lady let us in and helped us. Yep scariest moments of my life

You were very sensible when that man came over. I don't understand why people like hurting others . It really confused me.

I've been pretty sheltered, and very lucky, but hands down the scariest moment of my life was when I, a doofus as always, fell from a bunk bed at camp in 5th grade, and nearly broke my hip. Proceeded to scream my lungs out. Good times, good times...

I have a few but this is the most entertaining. So a couple of months ago I was trying to fall asleep. I kept having trouble so I decided to play some soft piano music. I was finally drifting off and rolled to my side under the covers. In my ear I suddenly heard a “Hello there” in a female voice I’ve never heard before. Scared the s**t out of me. Of course no one was there and my family doesn’t believe me. But definitely one of the scariest moment I’ve had.
