My rooms I clean everyday is the following:
•Living Room
•Dining Room
•Laundry
•Laundry Room
•Front of my house
•Downstairs Bathroom
It takes around 2 1/2 hours to get it all done! And because of all the repetition (I hate repetition a lot!) and the possible distractions that could cause me to meander off track, I listen to music! [Fun fact: I currently have a 350 song Playlist, 20 hours and 7 minutes]
■ ▪︎■▪︎■▪︎■▪︎■▪︎■▪︎■▪︎■▪︎■ I start by picking up all the rooms at once, then I start in the order of the front of the house to the back (dining room) or the other way around.
My favorite room to clean is the downstairs bathroom! It because it is small and is very nice smelling when clean!
My favorite product has to be my Kaboom spray! I got it about a week ago and use it in my sink basins, inside toilets, and my shower/baths. [Sorry it's a lot.]
Let me know if you have any suggestions to songs, or if you have anything you want to ask me!
I need to get back into my house cleaning routine. It was a lot of work but I always felt better afterwards & proud of myself for keeping our place nice & feeling clean (even if nobody else seemed to notice).
A few things that helped me were:
- do all housework in the morning, when I have the most (coffee) energy
- don't turn on my phone until the cleaning is done
- divide chores up onto different schedules (for example: wash dishes daily, alternate days either vacuum or clean bathroom, then each day of the week has its added chores like Wednesday is dusting, Thursday is laundry, etc. & then on a big calendar I have bonus chores written for each individual day like organize the pantry shelves, scrub the bathtub/shower, shampoo the carpets...)
I did separate it all into different schedules. But I share a house with my siblings. So it's super messy so quickly!
