We all experienced being locked down or quarantined. It maybe due to being sick with Covid, admitted in a hospital or at home; or as a close contact of someone testing positive.

Please share productive use of the extra time or positive experiences you had while in isolation.

How did you make good use of your time?

I tried learning other languages (Korean and Japanese). I was successful in only one.
I learned to write and read Baybayin fluently.

I am an essential worker, so I worked through the entire pandemic. Even though my job could be done remotely, my company still required me to come into the office every day.
My state didn't really ever shut all the way down and it reopened rather quickly, so apart from the 3 weeks I was sick (got COVID from a coworker that I was forced to have an in person meeting with), I was not isolated. And during those 3 weeks, I was too sick to do much of anything but lay in bed.

I hope you're ok now. I was also sick for 3 weeks last January 2022 and was forced to work immediately (as I'm also an essential worker) because a lot of my co workers also caught the virus. I burned out after a few months. I quit work recently to focus on getting healthy again. I pass my time doing calligraphy and watching marathons of drama series. 👌☺️
