Hey Pandas, What Are Some Name Stereotypes You Somewhat Subconsciously Have? (Closed)
I don't mean Karen or Chad.

Bill is an IT. But Billy/Billie is a singer (look up how many bands and artists have a singer/front vocalist named Billy/Billie)
Holly/Bonnie/Cassandra - mean girls
Jessie - Guy with long, wavy/curly hair with bandanna tied around head. Always ready for a fight. Works in a HVAC job.
Logan/ Chad/Brody - Surfer with bushy blonde hair, beach prep.
Grady/Brady - Lives in a trailor, works at the landfill (probably because the landfill here is called Brady)
Ryder - an adventurer/traveler
(I have imagery of every name I come across. I could create a long list. I'll leave it here.)
My name is Rebekah. In my experience, which is a small sample size to be sure, Rebeccas with C's are terrible people and those with K's are cool beans.
Kylie= super girly VSCO girl with a million scrunches. Talks with oh my god and like.
I'll go first. Jordan is fun-loving and somewhat the opposite of a nerd. S/he is rather loud sometimes.
I've just watched too many 80s movies to not know "Blaine" is always a rich privileged white guy who is probably looks like James Spader.
Stephanie was either little miss perfect or went by Steph. Stephanie and Jacob are the couple, jock and cheerleader.
Jacob is the creepy guy who thinks all the girls will like him.
Stephanie thinks Jacob is cute and innocent
Jacob has cheated on Stephanie.
I have way more stereotypes about names that I shall not get into right now.
Zack. Zack spelled Z-A-C-H is a scholar. Zack spelled Z-A-C-K is a menace...
Kaylas are lowkey narcissistic, and manipulative. Always short with brown hair and bangs. Toxic white middle/high schooler type.
Ashley is the girl who’s obviously super white, like literally only British and tries to be quirky and special by saying since her great-great-great-great-uncle’s mother’s aunt’s cousin was 1/32th South Asian she’s Asian, but “white-passing”.
I'm sorry if your name is one of the following:
Josh or Dustin
Then you're starting off with me like a herd of turtles wearing girdles jumping hurdles. Even one of my best friends named Josh still puts me on edge sometimes because he's such a Josh. I've yet to have a decent encounter with someone named one or the other out side of that one friend - and yes a part of that could entirely be my bias on it. As for a specific stereotype - I don't want to hurt feelings but 'Douche canoe' may be apart of the stereotyping for both.
Josh= white surfer dude with serious tan, somewhat long blond hair, wears aviator sunglasses.
Karen= expectation
Benjamin= really kind nerdy guy, but nobody hates him for it.
Isabelle = nice person
Khloe = wannabe celeb b***h
Claire = troll (like the profile in recent bp posts-unfortunately that is also my name)
Claudia = huggable
Jakes and Lukes are both white playboy jock types. With brown/blond hair and blue eyes. The ironic part is I know a Jake who doesn't fit that description at all. I also know a Luke and I guess he sort of fits it, but less annoying overall.
All Heathers are automatically evil blond queen bees with cricket hammers (thanks musicals lol)
this series is kinda bad to the people named. like all these people that are named are not going to walk away from this feeling good. ..... but on the other hand i am laughing my head off...
Yeah it's just to joke around. No offense meant! BTW Henry's are generally buff.
