With Stephen King’s IT due for release in September I thought it was well worth remembering this incredible piece by Kassiopeya Sachenwerkler.
The piece, called Welcome to Derry, makes use of an old 1958 stereo corner unit and works on two levels.
The top of the unit depicts a picturesque Derry, Maine the fictional home of many Stephen King stories.
Lurking below is the underground sewers of Derry where bad things happen and the detail is incredible.
Everything from detailed Missing Posters on telegraph poles to the researched cinema posters are perfect. With a number of ‘Easter Eggs’ for King and IT fans to explore this is one of the best pieces of fan made film art I have ever seen!
