Don't marvel at the 'average'. Marvel at the people who fall asleep so much faster that the average is brought down to 7 minutes. If it takes us half an hour (or whatever) and the average is 7, some folks out there are apparently falling asleep in 2.7 seconds. (Though TBH I'm not sure I believe this 7 minute average.)

As a parent of an I assume a young teenager, it wasn't for you to tell the boyfriend. It was for you to explain to your Child about Why this was wrong, explain actions, feelings, repurcussions etc. What you did was abuse your childs Trust. Will she come to you if she's been bullied? Thinks she might be pregnant or feels she's struggling with peer pressure say like drink, d***s, sex? She'd be worried you'd go off telling others. Young relationships aren't serious at all, unlike adult ones. I couldn't talk to my father at all, my mother knew I wasn't straight but my father didn't. Too homophobic, too much thinking I was going to get pregnant when I wasn't even kissed until I was 18/19. A child of All ages should be able to trust their parents and go to them about anything. That will never be the case here 😔
