I have a philosophical question for you: if someone enjoys a meal that everyone else finds horrid, do they prove that taste is subjective? Or do they achieve the opposite and show that it exists within certain boundaries? Whatever your initial answer is, hold on to it until you finish scrolling through this list. Believe me, it might change.
To show you that some stomachs have no limits, we at Bored Panda put together a collection of the weirdest food combinations we could find. We're talking bacon-wrapped Oreos, hard-boiled eggs with Nutella, and... I can't go on, sorry, I just had breakfast. You'll have to scroll down and check out everything for yourself. If you have the guts, of course. Just don't tell Gordon Ramsay about these photos — he'd probably stab these "chefs" with a fork.

If you don't want your dishes to end up in a similar list, there are some easy tips that can improve your cooking skills straight away.
According to Fine Cooking, the first thing you can do is rethink the way you use your chef's knife, "for better control, choke up on the handle to the point of putting your thumb and the side of your index finger onto the side of the blade right above the handle. Speaking of chef’s knives, invest in a good one (and keep it sharp). The longer, wider blade of a chef’s knife will give you speed, control, and confidence," the magazine wrote.
Next, start your dishes with the best ingredients you can get. For example, imported Parmigiano-Reggiano is way better than domestic parmesan. In fact, you can hardly compare the two. Or if you're baking a cake, premium chocolate makes all the difference and fresh homemade breadcrumbs are superior to packaged crumbs by miles. You get the idea.

Best Combo Ever - Fries And Honey

Chocolate-Covered Bacon
Now that you've got the good stuff, use your hands. "Hands are extremely sensitive and sophisticated cooking tools," the experts said. "You can develop this sense of touch by paying attention to how different foods feel at different degrees of doneness, even as you’re checking them with a thermometer, a toothpick, or a knife. Meat, for example, goes from being very soft when it’s rare to quite firm when well done. Touch can also indicate when a cake is baked, if the dough is kneaded enough, and whether a pear is ripe."
A great way to instantly elevate your dishes to another level is by switching to kosher or sea salt. Kosher salt and sea salt have a much, much better flavor than ordinary table salt. Though food shouldn’t taste salty, falling on the other side of the spectrum and using little or no salt makes food boring.

Also, pick recipes that use descriptive words. Like, "bake until golden brown" or "boil until reduced by half." Don’t freak out if the actual amount of time it takes to reach the desired state is more or less than the time suggested in the recipe.
Cooking is a never-ending journey, full of ups and downs. Focus on the journey, not the setbacks. Take everything as a learning experience, apply yourself, and always. taste. throughout. the. process.
I Finally Tried Making A Peanut Butter & Pickle Sandwich And It Was Life Changing
After seeing peanut butter and pickles several times, I'm starting to crave it!
Most of these entries are some combination of sweet and savory.

Try it with sweet pickles instead of dill pickles. I always have a jar of sweet pickles in frig just for this sandwich. Also, peanut butter monkey pig, (peanut butter, bananas, and bacon), was Elvis' favorite sandwich and is delicious. Just don't eat too many or end up, well, like Elvis.

A few sounded reasonable. Others, however, sounded extraordinarily putrid. This is good, and explains the vast variety of foods in the markets and around the world. Just remember, no matter how amazing the food in your country is, Gordon Ramsey makes it better. Cackle.
While I personally find half of them disgusting, you do you :) You’re not harming anybody, so feel free to enjoy whatever you like.
I agree. I wouldn't eat most of these, but it's not hurting me.

Sad thing is the more rubbish people eat (preservatives etc) the less they like real food and the more perverse their taste becomes. And even sadder is that all these things are not innocent funny combinations, but, highway to heart attacks and diabetes. Most of those foods are very unhealthy by themselves but then let's triple them - bc why not...
I believe that a lot of these are just " influencers" trying to get their 15 seconds of fame. I'd believe more of these if the poster showed them actually eating these monstrosities
cheddar cheese and fruit cake, it's a Yorkshire thing! peanut butter and honey on toast with a banana yum!
I had this in college by mistake at first. Some how at the college donuts and coffee place, the staff made me an everything bagel with strawberry cream cheese. Everything bagels include things like onion and garlic bits on them. Well needless to say, the flavour grew on me and I ordered it when ever I had a "crazy craving" 😁
Is it normal that i now find myself craving for some of these weird food combos??
Most breads (pasta, ice cream cones, pizza crust) can work just as well as either sweet or savory. Also, many of the sugar/fast food combinations make perfect sense in America, it just makes the already sweet fast food sweeter.
I dip chicken tenders/nuggets in vinegar like fries… is that weird?
no. my grandfather was English and sprinkled red vinegar on pizza. quite good. vinegar on fries is from English fish and chips.

I don't believe that people are actually eating and enjoying some of these. They just dream up weird food combinations and snap a picture.
I couldn’t finish this post. I literally got nauseous just thinking about what some of these might taste like.
I only despised one or two. Everything else is totally doable. I ate raw ground meat too, what can I say. Lol
One of my all time favs is cheese and salami with yellow mustard on raisin bread
Mine is neopolitan ice cream scoop wrapped in wonderbread (not really weird when you consider pre packaged bread in the US is sweetened) Also Oreos washed down with Orange Juice taste like cherry chocolate cake.
I sprinkle a spoonful of Nestle chocolate milk powder on to uncooked instant oatmeal and add cold milk. My mom turned me onto it when I was kid and I love it!
Why do.think of this of this crap? They must have severe stomach pains
Some of the combinations do sound good on the whole sweet and salty remix. I want to share some of mine too: sour cream and mashed potatoes • pork rinds or potato chips and peanut butter • apples with salt on it • Nutella and any cheese crackers (Better Cheddars are best) • scrambled eggs with strawberry jam or maple syrup • salt and vinegar chips with ketchup on it • malt vinegar and fries • a pinch of salt to coffee (makes it less bitter)
If you mix maple syrup with ketchup you get an unholy abomination that can go on anything. Seriously you should try it
I hate when delicious stuff is used as decoration only ... like, when on a family celebration, my Dad's cousin's husband told me not to take the bell pepper from the side of the buffet, which is filled with olives, and not to pour the olives onto my plate, as these are standing there just to look nice. There weren't any other olives. Olives are delicious, I was there to eat, buffet means take whatever you like, as much as you like, ... so I ended up sharing the olives with my Sister and my Dad, and decided that, although he's a teacher for gastro apprentices, I won't listen to that stubborn guy and eat any decoratively placed edibles that appear to be tasty. Like olives - almost always, when they're involved, they are the best tasting part of it. Many of those here are just ... disgusting. Others are totally fine, just not in fashion. Both is up to the one eating the stuff, so ... weird or not ... there are truly relevant things about food. This is none thereof.
I feel like most of these are pregnant people. Also no pictures of the OP were posted so we don't know if they are actually fat...
