In the Middle Ages, people thought farting in jars and sniffing them would help prevent death. True or false? Weirdly enough, it actually checks out as true. In fact, during the Great Plague of London in the 1600s, some doctors would recommend that people keep “fart jars” to ward off the bubonic plague.

Pants! How dare they! Next they will be wanting equal rights!
That's why I keep watching Naughty Nurses V. That and the fantastic script.
I'm often relieved to not have a husband. Sometimes I think it would be nice to have one to help. Then I remember all the stuff they'd probably want me to do for them.
Pearl Harbour might have turned out to be a good film if it concentrated on this character, rather than all that silly romantic gubbins and Ben Affleck.
As I read this there is a pop up advertising Bored Panda on my screen, whilst I am on Bored Panda. BP stop it.
All the devices these ghost hunters use incorrectly whilst searching for ghosts, they just need a carbon monoxide detector.
If I die I think I might want potatos plants each year planted on my grave site. My favorite food when growing was mashed potatoes and gravy. Either that be cremated and my ashes be spread in a potato field.
I remember when taking Psychology classes one professor saying something along the lines that most psychological research ends up just saying things that your grandmother could have told you and this fits that definition to a T
Money may not buy happiness but it sure as hell helps with what does give happiness. Access to better food and medical care, less stress, doing things to enjoy your life like traveling and experiences like concerts and plays. Things you simply can't afford if you're poor.. Next can they study why there are idiots who need to study the obvious?
Gee, what an astonishing realization. Who would have thunk it? Not having to worry about being able buy groceries all month verses having ones electricity shut off. Forget about having medical tests run that you need but cannot afford. Of course being poor and being treated like c**p at work because your employer knows you have to have this job is happy making.
Money can't buy you happiness, but it can sure as hell rent you paradise.
I'm not a rich Vet but it sure seems that the less I worry about money, the more I have.
Millionaires scale with our economy, we need a f**k load more. Billionaires existing is reprehensible.

After that, the correlation disappears. So if you measure the correlation between wealth and income just for people whose earnings are in the bottom 50% or so, there is a correlation, and there is no real correlation between wealth and income for the top 40%-50% by income (household income or wealth). So the upper Middle class and the wealthy are happier than the lower middle class and the poor. But the very wealthy aren't happier than the "merely" wealthy, and these aren't happier than the upper middle class. That doesn't mean that somebody making $150,000 a year is happy with their salary. But if you're not worried about having enough money to live, other things become more important in determining your sense of well-being than your income.
I argue psychology isn't a real science, and it's reasons like this that I maintain that opinion. All these clowns had to do was randomly ask poor people if money would brighten their lives. It's common sense. As a nihilist, I'm firmly aware that the one who dies with the most toys wins.
Nonsense. I have known and worked with many of the wealthiest people in the world. They are the most miserable bunch I have ever met. They don't realize how unhappy they are. Great wealth is an affliction regardless of how it is obtained.
Yes. Just because something is "obvious" doesn't mean it's true.

That only works if you believe what the Lizard Overlords are telling us.
And the still have the same old regular propping up the bar.
The strangulation scene still haunts me. It seems to take so long, when compared to strangulation scenes in most movies. Yet it is supposedly realistic. Strangulation is not a quick death.
That sounds like the dads had up until this point has been dropping the wives off at school.
The next live fight on Netflix will be Orca versus Great White.

Planes are grounded during the listening portion of the English section so their noise does not disturb the students. In some cases, students running late for the test may be escorted to their testing site by police officers via motorcycle.
Still. If I were to be in the water and see one of them, I am outta there!

It's rather silly when you think about it. Everything is ranked by user votes with most popular first. So they're paywalling literally their worst content as defined by reader votes.
