How a bride looks on the wedding day is usually one of the most popular topics among guests. It’s right there next to such classics as the weather or that uncle that got way too drunk. And one of the key components of their appearance is bridal makeup. Based in Prizren, Kosovo, beauty and makeup artist Arber Bytyqi is a man of many traits, and one of them is exactly that; accentuating brides’ facial features.
The best way to examine Arber’s makeup ideas is through his prominent online presence. So far, the makeup artist has amassed over 262k Instagram followers by regularly uploading pictures of the beautiful brides he’s worked on. Other fashion and beauty projects aside, a big part of his feeds consists of before-and-after pics of the brides he worked with and their striking transformations.

It’s also worth remembering that every bride is different with their own style and personality. Some love natural makeup, others want the full-on glam, and some brides request alternative bridal looks that are quite rare even on Pinterest. There are rarely rules when it comes to their big day, but throughout history, makeup trends have come and gone.

“I got interested in makeup when I was just a child,” Arber told Bored Panda. “The first drawings that I did were of eyes, girls, or dresses. I used to take my mom’s make-up and play with it when I was only five years old, so I knew that I’d become a makeup artist pretty early.”

“When I finished high school, my family didn’t want me to continue my studies in the beauty industry because in our culture it’s considered taboo if a male works in this industry. So, at first, I got a master’s degree in economics, and only then did I follow my dream and started working as a makeup artist.”

“When I meet my client, the first question I ask is what kind of occasion are they getting their makeup done for. I also ask my clients if they have any specific requests. For example, if they want a natural or dramatic look. Then I ask them [to show me] the dress that they are going to wear. The design of the dress and its details reveal the style of the look the client is going for. Then, I analyze their facial features.”

“We serve more than one thousand brides in a year. The summer, in particular, is a very demanding season for wedding makeup. During this period, my team and I serve as many as 60 or more clients daily.”

“Makeup is like jewelry for the face,” Arber said to everyone experimenting with makeup. “Play with colors and shapes. Don’t be afraid to transform yourself. At the end of the day, you can just clean it.”
People had a lot to say about this makeup artist’s work
Am I the only one who thinks this is really overdone? They look like different people. I understand doing a little extra makeup on your wedding day but good grief....
I am not sure I like this. They were just as pretty before, maybe they needed just a little make-up to look more radiant and fresh, and not a cartoonish amount that makes them look like Bratz dolls. Problem is how is it still in this society totally acceptable for man (groom) to be totally natural and fresh, but bride has to be painted over a look like a cartoon? Sorry but I totally find them beautiful without make-up. Sure, women like to make up a little but this is too much. They look like different persons.
It's also not just make up. Some of them have slightly different shapes to various parts of their faces - that isn't just make up. Photoshop. One has a dip on on the bridge on her nose that isn't there in the 'after' photo. Lines on the neck don't disappear with make up. They look plastic. All lovely anyway.
Load More Replies...If I was one of these grooms, I'd think I was at the wrong wedding. They wouldn't even recognize their wife.
Wow, why does Nia Loves Art 's comment have so many downvotes? It's certainly not insulting, it's merely an observation. Are the downvoters saying that this IS 'natural' beauty? I'd say in every single case, that term would describe the 'before' pictures. Some makeup wizardry can definitely improve on nature. These after pix are NOT that - they are horribly fake looking with troweled-on layers of makeup...anyone seen Sailor J's Contouring 101 video on youtube?
Load More Replies...Wasn't keen on the "after" shots. Way too much Kardashian style bad contouring on some, along with overdone lips. All looked vaguely alike and artificial.
The contouring is heavy, but I wouldn't call it bad. It is well blended at least. It does look rather fake though, especially with the photoshop.
Load More Replies...Far, far too much make. When used properly, makeup enhances natural features. It does create an entirely new face.
They all ended up looking sort of alike in the "after" photos.
Load More Replies...I can hear the grooms say, who are you, are you my wife to be? Sorry did not recognize you
They all look like creepy dolls that were made in factories that fit every beauty stereotype to an over-the-top max, being built in order for little girls to learn those stereotypes from an unhealthily young age, like barbie dolls currently do. In other words, they look creepily unnatural, and they were naturally beautiful before like this post showed them in this disgustingly creepy, barbie-doll fake way. We are all beautiful, and people who tell us we aren't are jealous of us, or just want to make a buck selling makeup.
They even slimmed down a couple of the necks - to look more like dolls
Load More Replies...I'm pretty darn sure these are all using heavy filters. Do the after photos all look nearly identical to anyone else?
I think there is photoshop going on. “Airbrush makeup” is just another way of applying makeup, it doesn’t change the outline of a person’s face.
Load More Replies...In my opinion 100% of these girls were prettier in the before- picture. In the after- picture it looks a bit like transvestites. Nothing against them, but at a wedding brides usually want to be female and pretty
Exactly - use something heavy in a natural tone to cover the skin problems , then just emphasize and define features - a tiny bit of blush and contour if needed. So it looks like you - glowing on a perfect-skin day.
Load More Replies...What's the point of looking like an entirely different for your wedding? Everyone else in the comments has pretty much covered my complaints as well, but overall it's just that that is WAY too much make-up. I feel like a good make-up artist should be someone who can do less with more and highlight someone's beauty and add a bit of style without looking totally unnatural. Pretty much anyone with a basic knowledge of make-up can stumble into this style by trying basically bit of make-up they were given.
I don't like that much makeup on brides, they are wearing more makeup than my favorite queens on Rupaul's Drag Race. The artist is skilled and eveything but I personally think that "less is more" when it comes to makeup and especially bridal makeup. I even like myself better with lighter makeup because that way you are no longer recognizable.
If this happened to me I would ask my wife to be for ID just to make sure it was her.
I absolutely want to look my best when I get married, but these make up jobs make them look like someone else. I can't imagine my bf being all teary eyed over a doll version of me coming down the aisle.
Not everybody's favorite style, certainly for a wedding I think it is too much, but as far as glamour makeup goes it is well done.
Load More Replies...These are awful, a huge boooo to the makeup person (not using the word artist here). They all look synthetic and super airbrushed (the 2nd to last photo, everything is all off with her arms, she has no elbow!), less is more for all of these lovely brides. I'd never pay to look like this...or even half like this.
from tired to drag queen. and do they also apply make up to their bodies?
As a makeup artist + photographer, I can assure you these afters are heavily edited on junk iPhone software. I'm so tired seeing these filters used over and over on makeup looks. I'd love to see what the afters look like minus so much editing! It actually downplays their work. :(
Might I add, it's actually kind of rude to post unedited versions with no makeup looking their worst. It only makes the person you've done makeup on feel like c**p about themselves. I don't even do before and afters anymore for that reason alone.
Load More Replies...Called scouse brows when they are really thick and dark, though it is beyond me why anyone thinks they look good. Unbalances the face.
Load More Replies...I love this. Better than any words it shows young girls that the photos they see in magazines are not real. Anyone can be made to appear glamorous. No one is flawless underneath and that's perfectly okay.
I'm sorry, and I know we're all allowed to have different opinions and that this is the choice these women have made, but this amount of makeup...unsettles me. Like...ugh, I don't know how to explain but for me at least it's just creepy. They look fake.
They all look beautiful but I would go for a more natural look! I want to recognize myself in the wedding photos haha
Helloooo~ A lot of these comments are super negative, criticizing these women for being "fake," but I get it- it IS overdone. But, all the women look super thrilled! I mean, it's their WEDDING!! Isn't their happiness all that matters? It's okay to get dolled up every once in a while and to experience the way makeup can transform you, even just for a day, it's nice to feel *extra* beautiful (not to say they weren't before) :D I would totally love to try this for just one day. Sure, they look like dolls, but still- to them the makeup makes them feel especially beautiful on their special day. I know a lot of you down there are all "Natural is more beautiful" And yes, natural is beautiful. They are all naturally pretty! You're trying to go against the whole "Don't judge women for not wearing makeup" Please continue to do that, it minimizes mean comments on looks (which I hope is the goal), but then ridiculing women for wearing too much makeup just adds to the hate, going against your goal.
I'm sorry, but these women look overdone like 80's porn stars. NOT classy. The makeup is poorly blended, too. If I were a groom, I'd think the wrong bride was coming down the aisle.
All of these before pics prove that there are many a man not just in it for the looks.
It's right to call the makeup applier an "artist". He painted a picture of a completely different woman onto these women's faces. And they're completely interchangeable; I hope their husbands were sure who they were marrying. But they all look lovely and I hope they all had amazing weddings; and, more importantly, Amazing Marriages. It's fun to be a princess for a day.
Oh my god, most of them look like f*****g clowns, and, in my opinion, number three looked better before! I don’t know, man. It’s obviously about those brides and what they want, but I have to wonder how they felt later looking at those unnatural faces in their photos, and further, I have to wonder how the grooms felt looking into those alien faces at the altar
The artist is skilled, but for your wedding I feel it looks a bit clownish. A lighter hand would have yielded just as beautiful results.
Why does every single one of them have foundation that is multiple shades darker than their real skin?
My thinking... it's is a day she wants to remember. I have no issues with whatever the bride wants to do. It's not my wedding, photos are not going into a wedding album I will ever own, and photoshop or heavy makeup - does it make her happy? Yes or no - I am not one to judge.
Their spouses didn't marry them for their makeup. And if they only knew them in full makeup, it's going to be a long, challenging rouse to keep up.
Am sure every guy wants his girlfriend to look special on their wedding day- but there is a difference between special - and "special effects department"
Load More Replies...It's their special day, you should look however you want. I do wedding pics so I've seen some mild make over and some not so mild.
I don't know... what if you're so transformed that the groom wonders who the heck you are and if he's wandered into the wrong chapel?
"It’s also worth remembering that every bride is different with their own style and personality. Some love natural makeup, others want the full-on glam, and some brides request alternative bridal looks that are quite rare even on Pinterest." I wish we had seen some of the former and latter. Also unless there was makeup done on the chest area for most of them then there is a good amount of photoshop too. So hard to trust the makeup is all the makeup artists work and not the photoshop artists.
Beautiful work for brides who wanted to look stunning and the makeup artist delivered.
I can't believe so many people are leaving rude comments. These women are getting married, for many, it's the most important day of their life. Who cares if they look completely different? They all look model-like after the makeup which probably makes them feel like the queen of the world. which they should, it's their wedding day. If they didn't want to look "over the top" or "natural" then they wouldn't have paid the money to get their makeup PROFESSIONALLy done. Gorgeous! They have the rest of their life to be natural. Let them have their day.
I feel like the picture in the middle of each of those pairs would be the one where they look the best.
I'm all for less is more and looking natural..... But....... These are bridal pictures. The dress is over the top (normally one one way or another, especially compared to anything they would usually wear) the decor is over the top, no reason they makeup shouldn't be as well. Especially considering most of these women are about to spend thousands on pictures. More makeup works in photo and video. Most brides also want to look like a fairy tales princess. Kudos to this artist for delivering on that dream. If you don't like it, don't wear as much makeup on your wedding day. Point. blank. period. These ladies chose to, this artist is obviously very skilled and gifted at their craft, and the results speak to both the artist skill and the beautiful brides. Congratulations to all involved.
It's like, "hey young girls, you can look photoshopped in real life if u try hard enough! Now you'll never have to see your face 'unfiltered' even in real life!" I get being glam for the big day, but the barrage of regular girl being 'perfected' really bugs me. I'm older and wiser now, but as a teen I looked at things like this and thought Oh, I'll always just be the before picture.
Sorry. Though a couple of them look okay, with all that makeup, most of them look like Las Vegas prostitutes.
This is really depressing... I'm glad my wife and I wore minimal make up just to make sure we weren't shiny in pictures. If she had that much on I wouldn't see the freckles I love.
#MyTwoCents - the amount of digital post-processing on these images is excessive. I will guarantee, as a makeup artist with over 3 decades of work experience, that none of these women looked like their after images in-person. This is a great advertisement for Facetune and Photoshop, it is not reality.
Those ugly fake eyelashes and thick caterpillar eyebrows just don't work. Why do so many young woman like the like box like eyebrows
That's some really ugly and unnatural looking makeup(minus maybe last 2 pics where the chosen style just accidentally happens to fit their faces, or the photographer just happened to catch the right angle). And I don't mind make up, especially on an occasion like this, but wth are those joker-style faces? They all had nice faces with their own cute features to begin with, why shove them all under the same unnatural mask with tiny eyes with bigass eyelashes and lips taking half the face? That's how you DON'T do good makeup.
This is why men go OMG-WOW when they see their bride for the first time. They don't recognize her!
I want someone to do my makeup like that!! My husband will think there is a younger more beautiful woman in his bed!!! I hope all those grooms know what the real person looks like without all the makeup. They look beautiful.
"11 Photos Taken Before And After Brides Got Their Wedding Makeup AND PHOTOSHOP"
2 of them look ok the first one in particular. #2 is so badly photoshopped it looks like her head is on someone elses neck. #6 is probably the one who looks most like her before pic
Load More Replies...Yeah, not like it is completely obvious that they are wearing tons of makeup /s.
Load More Replies...The make-up is beautifull, but these pictures also look very photoshopped. Lines on your face dont just dissapear. They have been softened or sometimes completely removed.
This makes me feel a LOT better about myself. I'm like them- I can be pretty but my skin tone, under eyes, and blemishes can have a big effect on self esteem. I wish I could afford to have my makeup done so nicely!
You can watch tutorials and learn how to do it yourself!
Load More Replies...photos have been photoshopped along with make up. which can change appearance but the jawline and nose cant be changed that much without cosmetic procedures. now if these women also used fillers to carve their noses and change cheek bones... they could look like that. but im certain photoshop also played a role in the enhancement
These are SO photoshopped and airbrushed. Fake. They look like aliens.
Stepford Wives: The Remake! (See what I did there?)
Load More Replies...I think if the bride to be loves the look, then it's totally worth it. What better day to go all out than on your wedding day. You have an amazing dress, so it's time to play the princess! I personally love putting on make-up and enhancing my own features when it's a special occasion, or even if I just feel like it. It's also ok for the bride-to-be to present a more natural look if that is what they like. It's a personal opinion, and no one else's thoughts should matter.
But each face looks like it has layers upon layers troweled on, instead of artfully blended. A wedding isn't a photo shoot, it's a very active event! That stuff is going to run, or crack, or something.
Load More Replies...I am still up at 11:01, but I dont care. (Internet surfing) I dont understand the concept of makeup. Just appreciate the face you have..! I dont understand the big deal about makeup. Some women as much makeup to equal to 80 gallons of petrol...
Makeup doesn’t have to be like this. It’s far more common to use it just to cover up areas a woman might be insecure about (like acne or dark circles) and sometimes to emphasize features a woman likes such as her eyes or lips,
Load More Replies...A definite thumbs down from me. I want to know what a woman really looks like and these makeovers are extreme. I like a woman who has the confidence to be herself, not spend hours on making herself look completely different.
Makeup, is impressive. But the skin looks photoshopped. And the overdone eyebrows are not my cup of tea.
I wish more girls would wear a little lighter makeup, the point of makeup is to accentuate a girl's most beautiful features and maybe draw attention away from their less desired ones. These days girls wear so much makeup that they don't even look like themselves, and it can often get to the point of drag queen style. Nothing against drag queens, it's just not the best wedding or everyday look.
I was on a train journey once - a girl in a seat close to me spent 45 mins putting on more and more make-up. It was very over the top by the end. I think if the journey had been 2 hours she would still have carried on to the end.
Load More Replies...I'm all for a bride going all out for her wedding day, but these aren't just makeovers--these are photoshopped. Photoshopping away their natural facial shapes and bumps and pores and freckles and then calling it all 'make-up' is pathetic at best. Several of the women have bumps on their faces that make-up alone could not completely hide, yet are completely gone in the after photos. Noses, cheeks and cheekbones, and neck lines have been altered in ways that angle or the turn of the head alone can't explain. THESE are the kinds of unnecessary alterations I can't stand on women--without the heavy photoshopping these ladies would all look perfect after as they do before.
I guess I'm in the minority but come on it's their wedding day, yeah you don't wear that much makeup every day but you also don't wear a wedding dress and a crown or veil. I think they all look great who doesn't want to look like a movie star on their wedding day!
Not judging one way or another but I've noticed on all before and after shots they seem to pick the absolute worst before shot possible.
would have been good to see them in their normal make-up for comparison
Load More Replies...as much as I love make up I find that these make ups reallyare too much. they all look like cartoons.
They are all pretty before and after. Stop the hate parade! They were happy!
What hate parade?? The girls/women are all beautiful, it is the make-up artist getting the criticism.
Load More Replies...No, no, no. I don't care how good of a 'makeup artist' you are, makeup cannot change the size/shape of a nose, chin or brow line/forehead. All but the last one have a completely different nose. A full half of them have different chins. And foreheads are the same throughout your life. This is a nice Photoshop job.
Quite amazing. All the women are still quite beautiful without the makeup.
Make-up plastered on isn't enhancing natural beauty, it's blatant false advertising.
I think their husband already knows what they look like. This is Kosovo, not Afghanistan ; ).
Load More Replies...It's their wedding day and if they're happy, more power to them. Personally, I like a more natural look. Just to cover up some blemishes and to add a bit of glow. Overdone make-up ages the woman wearing it a lot. They're all so pretty anyway. It doesn't need much to make their beauty shine.
Reminds me of the King of Queens episode where Doug says to Carrie: Well, thanks for slapping on a couple coats of paint and coming out! Thick layers of makeup like this isn't very nice, imo. It's the shape and structure of your face that makes someone pretty.
After makeup, and also after a good dose of Photoshop. The end result reminds me a little of Disney cartoons. Biljana Malesevic, I agree with you! If the brides feel fine, then fine. But no woman ought to feel that she has got to look like someone else when she gets married, nor on any other day of her life.
These just show me just how c**p I am with make-up. Day to day I am fine, but I would like to do this for special occasions, such as my wedding day. Love all of them.
You can watch videos on YouTube. It takes practice but you can learn!

I have nothing against bright makeup, or even looking like a completely different person once for a while. What I really dislike about these photos is that you need to look really closely to realise that they are all different people. This makeup made them look virtually identical: same gigantic shimmering eyes, unnaturally smooth plastic doll-like skin with an unbelievable amount of highlighter. There is no individuality in these looks - they are like mindless copies of one another.
I absolutely HATE this thick, caked-on makeup! Why bother getting expensive photos taken of your wedding if you look like every other bride this makeup "artist" has ever worked on? Much cheaper to use the same bride for each wedding - you can't tell the difference between them. [By the way, I used the word "artist" in the loosest possible way. There is no artistry here.]
I did my own makeup, which I've always been sparing with. My husband wanted to marry me, not the contents of my makeup bag!
Has anyone noticed the amount of photoshop used on their cleavage? Picture before is like all natural, no photoshop, NOTHING and then the photo after is overdone like everything gotta be removed freckles, moles, lines, pores lol bye
I think the make-up looks ridiculous & hideous. Most of these girls were pretty enough that they only needed the slightest enhancement to look 'naturally' beautiful. Some were so overdone as to look like another nationality. I agree they look like Bratz dolls. Dumb.
It looks to me like most of these women have dark circles under their eyes....maybe if they focused a little more on starting a wonderful life with their significant other who loves them for themselves, flaws and all, rather than trying to make everything extravagant and 'perfect' they would start the marriage with a little less stress. I mean if my groom came to the alter with a fake beard (as opposed to fake eyelashes) and a role of socks in his pants I would be floored...in a bad way.
I don’t think you need that much make up. Most are overdone, but beautiful.
I wonder if the grooms get weirded out when a woman they barely recognise turns up next to them.
i just do not like this kind of a makeup... looks very overdone and too heavy.
yeah. not feeling the dark lip or brow. All of the brows are the same and makes the whole face look like a different person (in a bad way)
Terribly overdone makeup. They look so fakeI can't believe the makeup artist can't see that. The more is not the better, and those girls are so beautiful before putting makeup on and so ugly and artificial after! Terrible job!
A little makeup is one thing. These women look like they were done up by a Hollywood makeup artist. Not that their husbands don't know what they really look like but, makeup should just enhance natural beauty. Not make you look like you are wearing a mask.
Too much lash and too much lip. Tone it down a touch and perfection......
The makeup is really well done, the artist has done a great job... but, did anyone else feel like they lost a little personality under all that foundation? They look like they should be in a magazine- and have become generic enough to be appreciated by all but that means they've lost a little unique aspect to them, which is what their partners fell in love with, after all...
Cool they all look the same, and nothing like the woman whoever is marrying them fell for.
They've literally been facetuned to s**t. They didn't even look like that on the day. No judgment on the amount or style of makeup, just... holy retouching batman.
On my wedding day I'd prefer to look like myself so my fiancee won't be asking me "Where's my wife"
this is crackers, jesus, the makeup artist has made them look like totally different people, not better or worse, just totally different, I am not sure i like it, it seems like the artist is basically sayin "you look like s**t,i will change your appearance totally"
They were all pretty before all the make up ... a little is enough
Great, now the man have to marry some sort of doll. I liked them better before the plaster works...
So the groom looks round to see the regular gal he loves and sees the bride of dracula walking up the aisle instead. It's a no from me.
plastered up real fine! imagine the day after... "who are you and what did you do with my wife!" i'd be furious at my mua if she did something like this on me.
To wear makeup is fine, however, if it's too overdone the bride may look back at photos, and wish the makeup was applied with a light touch, the photos look like mannequins !!!
You'll note most of them have acne in he before pictures. This is most cases probably wouldn't be a condition for them if they didn't spray paint / spackle their faces on . All that c**p is bad for your skin and here's your proof.
I live for this makeup artists work! I am currently studying makeup artistry, and I cannot wait until I am fully qualified, and start doing weddings.
Not only is this overdone, they photographs are doctored. Both the exaggerate the skin blemishes etc on the left-side but also to create false color on the right. Look at the white of their eyes for a clear indication of the doctoring that went on. Desperately fake. In any case, most Asians (I'm married to one) only need a touch of eye shadow to look stunning - yet the weddings I've gone to the (otherwise beautiful) bride look like a plastic sex doll.
I can understand wanting to look your best on your wedding day. But, don't you also kind of want to look like, ... you?
Lighting also helps as clearly shown in the BEFORE and AFTER photos. They made a point to have direct, harsh lighting on the before photos and softer, indirect lighting on the after photos. Tricks of the trade.
"Before" pix, for any product, crack me up - subject is always frowning, slouching, sticking their stomach out, the lighting is harsh, the outfit unflattering...
Load More Replies...All Gorgeous and dolled up for that brides special day. But I did wonder, was all this strictly the changes from no make-up to makeup? OR is there a degree of Photoshop added to their total overall transitions?
creepy af. These heavily painted on and highly photoshopped girls all look the same. I love makeup, my letterbox has never seen me without painted face but these girls look like they came out of a box. No way i want to marry a man who would marry me looking like that and not break out in shocked laughter and then running for his life.
They all look like totally different people. Some of the waiting grooms might have been confused.
They all have far too much makeup on for my tastes and look like wax figures. Less is more! Still, its what they want. If they want to look like they're made out of wax I guess it doesn't matter what I think.
They have personality without makeup, look like persons it would be interesting to learn to know. The personality are hidden by the makeup, nothing that attracts attention, except maybe the eyes, that mostly showed life. The lips that really tell much about people and their personality was hidden fully, boringly uninteresting.
they don't even resemble themselves.,... they all look like jersey shore beauty queen competitors not brides....
They all look the exact same. The makeup is identical on each girl, there's no originality to bring out any features specifically for any of the girls. Honestly they all look like over made up cheap beauty queens in my opinion. You don't have to go natural, but you also don't have to go jersey shore on your wedding either.
Yeah...that is not makeup that is airbrushing. Have a look at the skin tone under the neckline essentially -_-
I would not want to see a stranger in my wedding photos. Some of them turned Asian.
None of these people look remotely the same in their "after" pictures. #6 looks vaguely Asian with her makeup. I understand wanting to look pretty and if you have acne or something like that, wanting to mask it but shouldn't your groom at least recognize you?
I understand wanting to look your best for such a special day, but this is way too much make-up. They all look the same and nothing like the before pictures. Wedding make-up is supposed to be light and as natural-looking as possible, with a slight accent on the eyes and lips for better photos. I mean you're supposed to look like yourself on your own wedding day?
Gross and disgusting, every “after” picture. “You’re not pretty enough so we need to fake a completely different face over yours. And we guarantee your new husband’s disappointment the morning after your wedding.”
Ok, as a male (and I'm almost certain that I'm a minority here) I think that a girl should look like the girl that the boy fell in love with in the first place, on their wedding day. That having been said, I, personally, think that the before pictures look far more beautiful, and also rather sad, as you can see it in some of their eyes that they, themselves, don't see the beauty in them without a paint job. I plan on marrying my girlfriend soon, and when we get married, I wouldn't care if she had zero makeup, a scratch on her cheek from her psychotic cat, a coffee stain on her scrubs top (that she was adorably embarrassed about), dark rings under her eyes from pulling a double on nightshift as an RN in the drug capital of America, immediately after grinding out 4 papers for school to work towards getting her master's in nurse leadership. In fact, I would prefer she look like that, because that's exactly how she looked when I fell in love with her. Judge away internet. Bring the pain
I worked in nightclubs through the 80s-90s and we hosted fashion shoots and wedding receptions galore. The most radiant brides still looked like themselves, just enhanced. All these makeup jobs look the same: heavy foundation, eyeliner that looks like Sharpie marker, and lips and liner heavier than I've seen on drag queens.
Why would you want to look like a completely different person on your wedding day? I love makeup and I think it's good to cover up the "bad bits" if it helps you feel more beautiful, and also enhance the good, but this looks more like plastic surgery than makeup to me...
I would marry the ones without makeup. Wearing all that makeup took away their personality. To me they're all more beautiful without.
What do I think? I think it's stage makeup. Perfect for projecting to the back rows of the house. NOT something you want staring at you from two feet away, and a bride is going to be up close and personal with friends and family during the whole affair.
They all have the same look, took away their personality. I am a makeup wearer and I have been known to go all out on the eye makeup but it is all that Instagram style of super heavy makeup that is already out of style. They look good but not in a unique way, in an Instagram filter kind of way. All of that being said, I am sure all the women hired him to get that particular look so it is what they wanted. Just not my style of makeup but it seems to be theirs and it is well done.
Um, this makeup is hideous for any occasion let alone a wedding, they don't even look like themselves. There is such a thing as being made up to look more natural. They all look like they're about to go drag-show clubbing.
I love these transformations. They'll Always look flawless in their wedding photos. It's not for everyday wear. Beautiful brides.
The after photos look so fake! They look like plastic dolls. There's no character. Why?
Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I think the brides' matter most on this occasion. It's their wedding day, and they should be allowed to wear as much or as little makeup as they want. They look gorgeous in both photos. It's not necessarily for me or others, but that doesn't mean they don't look absolutely fierce or are wearing "too much" makeup. <3
They need to change the caption to reflect the Photoshop used in the final photo. How do I know? Because of photographed enough wedding photo shoots, and I recognize the "Skin Smooth" action when I see it. The makeup is amazing, however, and they all look beautiful. But these were clearly photoshopped by the photographer to enhance. I do it myself as well.
There are so many amaziong things you can do with make-up. Not sure why all these girls chose to look like mail-order brides and have the same ludicrous fake lashes. Especially for a picture that you will look back on for the rest of your life, you want to look classy and timeless and not like the result of a youtube tutorial from the Naughties. Oh well, at least the brides look happy.
one turned into Ivanka Trump, 2 look like news weather women, one became Asian, a couple resemble some Latin actresses, the rest are Kardashian cousins. ALL Beautiful with or with out make up :)
If they like how they look that’s great. I prefer a little less makeup. The women with the lighter lipstick look much prettier in my opinion. Some of them look like completely different people. I would like my groom to recognize me as I walk down the aisle.
Well nobody's perfect. And giving it our best on special days is A-OK. Sometimes though, our identities should still remain seen. The make-up artists were all very talented and I appreciate them. Still, just keep it real.
Great skill, but it's as thick as stage make-up. I prefer a more natural look for a wedding, but each to their own I suppose.
These are so photoshopped and airbrushed. They look like aliens. Yuck.
Yeahhh you can't even see them under all the makeup - if I was a groom getting married I'd like to recognize my wife to be...But all that said it looks very pretty and I'm sure the artist worked really hard.
I personally don't think you should look different on your wedding day. These make ups don't "accentuate" their faces, they make a different face. And I'm speaking out of experience: for my prom I had professional makeup, and I told just a little too late to stop. So I don't really like to look at my prom pictures, because I don't look like me-I'm not beautiful,I am someone else.
But like I said, it's a personal opinion, and I don't judge those who like this.
Load More Replies...I think that if they actually WANTED to do this then it's all fine an dandy, but I don't think they really look like themselves anymore. It kind of makes them look way too much like some photoshopped model pics. I get that SOME make-up of course is nice and all, but when you don't even look like you in the pictures, what's the point in that? (of course this is coming from someone who doesn't really even use make-up in the first place.) But I do understand the need of wanting to look beautiful on a special day like this.
Clearly they wanted to do this, otherwise they wouldn’t have gone to this artist for their makeup.
Load More Replies...I love makeup. It helps us to look our best and increases self confidence
When done well. Otherwise it can do the opposite.
Load More Replies...Yikes, if I had to marry one of those dolls I’d run screaming out of the *nightmare*.
Yikes, if I had to marry one of those dolls I’d run screaming out of the church.
Way overdone. Most of them do not even look like themselves. This is not stage makeup for goodness sakes, they are up close and personal.
I personally think that this was done by the artist named Photoshopped. It's too perfect and too heavy, and the one bride with the broader nose clearly was edited at her nose.
With that amount of makeup, the groom will think that he arrived at the wrong wedding, because you can't even tell it's the same girl.
The wedding make-up is certainly over-dramatic. Make-up for those who want it, go for it. But do you do a trial for these brides to ask "Is this how you want your make-up done for your wedding?" Because these don't look like the same women. Maybe that's the point, but maybe you don't want the groom to recognize their fiances.
Look at before and after pics of celebrities and you will see the same thing. Most are unrecognizable without makeup (and probably like it that way :)
I hope the husbands have at least seen them without make up because good Lord they look like completely different people!
Well, they look fantastic. But I wouldn't like to see some stranger (even good looking stanger) on my wedding photos next to my husband. Sorry.
That is a lot of makeup and I am not sure I would be up for that. These ladies look beautiful, but wearing that much on your face cannot be good for it. Some were amazing transformations.
You mean not good for you health wise? Unless they are Chinese knockoff cosmetics they are absolutely not putting stuff in makeup that will poison the wearer over the course of a few hours.
Load More Replies...Did anyone see a bride that went went for the more natural look? the make-up artist said some brides chose a more natural look as opposed to a more dramatic look.
Wow,who needs plastic surgery if your nose looks smaller, your eyes bigger and your skin smoother with makeup ;-).Keep it simple, less is often more
What do you suppose their grooms will think when they take off that six pounds of makeup on their wedding night?
Makeup should embrace our natural features, they ale look like clones thanks to heavy contouring. Eyes look nice, but definitely too much coverage.
"Wait, what?! You look nice but can I marry the woman I chose, please? Where is she by the way?"
They're kind of pretty but I think they're almost unrecognizable and it's wayyyy to much for my personal taste. I think my boyfriend wouldn't say yes to me when I would show up to our wedding looking like that. In my opinion, makeup should underline the personality and slightly cover flaws, not make your face look like a mask.
I agree, but your boyfriend not saying yes to you over makeup seems a bit much!
Load More Replies...Trying to look their best, or trying to look like somebody else? Actually wearing a mask would be more honest. What use are the wedding pictures if they show an unknown person? Why would anyone want to look like a completely different person on one of the most important days of their life? Daddy, who's that woman you're marrying on that old photo? Where's mommy???
Are we sure there isn't some photoshop as well, or are all these gals also using makeup on their chest as well...???
I'm all for getting done up a little extra for your wedding, but this is too extra. I think make-up should enhance your natural features, not create features you don't even have.
omg... some of them are sooo pretty without make up.. they really look terrible with these unnatural looks
Did the bride-grooms even recognize the brides? Less makeup would have been prettier.
This is photoshopping, not just makeup, even the earrings etc have been pasted. The author makes them all look the same, yuk. Very crass work and insulting to the beautiful individuality of the living, breathing women. The future husband could walk right past his woman and not recognise the pic (does not exist in real life) of the person he fell in love with. Why are we even seeing this?
Makeup? I find the photoshop horribly the same on all faces, even insulting, it takes away any charm they have as living, breathing women. Honestly I thing the future husband could walk right past the woman and not recognise her. In a photo, because this does not exist in real life. Its a crime to not love the beauty of human variety and encourage individuality.
Plastered faces... As for they don't look natural at all. And after midnight the Cinderella will turn into a pumpkin...
I just realized that they are all different people. If you look at some of the dresses or veils and compare them, they don't look the same.
All are looking gorgeous, here is also some before after example https://goo.gl/iTtfoi

All of these NEGATIVE comments... holy smokes... these women feel amazing and it's THEIR day ; why would ANYONE feel the need to judge them on the way THEY want their makeup done. The amount of absolutely unnecessarily RUDE JUDGMENTAL comments is mind blowing. Says soooooooo much more about the a*****e commenting than it does about these stunning brides on THEIR wedding day.
am i the only one that thinks they all look the same as in the make up artist only has three colors to choose from?
Would make me think twice if I was marrying the appropriate person.
I think they're beautiful. So they look different. Don't you want to feel and look like a princess for one day?
They do look beautiful, but this is more Kardashian than princess.
Load More Replies...These women are not “ugly ducklings.” They are completely normal looking women.
Load More Replies...Am I the only one who thinks this is really overdone?

All are looking gorgeous before and after makeup , Visit here for getting Photoshop Makeup https://goo.gl/iTtfoi
