With so much information being thrown at us on a daily basis, it’s easy to lose focus and drift into apathy. Who cares about so many things at once, anyway?
No wonder more and more people are drawn to this old-time form of systematized information accompanied by great visualization. We’re talking maps. And not just dusty maps from your attic, but the most fascinating pieces that present things we know (and the ones we don’t!) in a refreshing light.

There Is A Lake In Finland, That Looks Like Finland
In case you're wondering, because I looked it up immediately when I had learned about it: It's manmade, was made in 1991, is 116 meters long, and a 1:10,000 scale of Finland! The construction engineer was Esko Sääskilahti. It was going to be the Centerpoint of a tourist village, but that part was never completed. The lake took a week to excavate. Hope you enjoyed learning some more! :-)

Probably 'counties', not countries. Edit 5 hours later to add: hmm, they changed the title from 'countries' to 'counties' so this comment now confusing, "huh?".

Where The World Wants To Move To
I want every single American to see this and be hit with the understanding that the rest of the world is not, in fact, secretly wishing they lived here.
I understand that already, I don’t want to be here.
Load More Replies...So the Americans don't need a wall, they just need a shuttle to run the Mexicans up to Canada
Seems sus. American here. I have rarely ever met anyone who said they wanted to move to Japan and it was usually someone young - impressionable - fan of anime. And bigger picture, I've rarely met anyone who wanted to live in another country. Complaining aside, most of us like it here better than other places.
I've heard the UK, New Zealand, Canada, and various Central American countries. People often gravitate to similar culture/ethnicity/language, for good or ill. I've never heard Japan. They're often seen as xenophobic.
Load More Replies...Well, for Russia it's pretty understandable. But Norway????
Load More Replies...America is a car infested hell hole and japan is not bad, but laws favor old people more than the more important young people. for the few people in Europe that want to move to north America, DONT, it is not as free as you think.
Huh, I thought most peruvians wanted to move to the US... (i'm peruvian btw)
I don't actually know of a single person who would move to whatever that is. LOL
I live in a U.S. city desnsly populated with first generations American s whose parents are from Mexico, the fact that they want to go to canada surprised me...
China is like the USSR now. Where would like to live? Mppfffmmmm. Gets drug off by the secret police.
I'm not getting the Japan thing. I find it a bit far fetched. As a Michigander, I'm always thinking of ways to escape to Canada. Swimming across the Detroit River sounds excruciating. It doesn't want me either.
I will speak for myself but there is no country more scary to me then yours. Summer viewing here. Wall to wall NCIS, CSI, FBI....movies are ultra violent. People seem unhinged. Evangelical about anything. I don't want to be in a real life dystopian movie. Japan? Switzerland? Sign me up!
Load More Replies...Swiss want to live in Germany and Germans in Switzerland. Lol (It seams they only asked the richer folks). Most of the world seams to want to go either to Canada or Japan tough.
What?! China, Russia, and North Korea aren't listed as anyone's choice? I'm shocked! (sarcasm)
I'm with my fellow Dutch people here... I would definitely chose Spain (NOT Canada like my adopted British counterparts).
I don't want to move anywhere, I just want the uk to move a bit south - but I'd agree if I had to live anywhere else I'd likely choose Canada, mainly because my mum was born there and I've spent a fair bit of time over there
