"Promoted by Italian cultural association dotART in partnership with Trieste Photo Days, Matrix4Design and Trieste Science+Fiction Festival, this year URBAN Photo Awards offers four categories in which photographers can try their hand.
Among the great novelties of this edition, the Bruce Gilden Special Award, which will be added to 'historical' sections dedicated to Single Photos (4 thematic areas: Streets, People, Spaces, Creative), Projects & Portfolio and URBAN Book Award which is dedicated to sketches of photographic books (the so-called 'dummies'). The Bruce Gilden Special Prize will be reserved for street photography projects destined to be part of a prestigious photographic volume edited by Bruce Gilden himself, from which a group exhibition will also be taken."
