I am an italian photographer, born and raised in Rome. I find my subject matter travelling the world. Inspired by the character and movement of the places I visit, I create abstract representations of urban landscapes by superimposing several different photographs to build a single, multi-layered image.
Each and every detail is duplicated a dozen times, the lights and structures multiplied, the hustle and bustle amplified – with this technique I build dazzling and strange visions of seemingly familiar places. My series, Urban Melodies, features both iconic and everyday views of New York City, Paris, Roma, Berlin and other cities, layered to showcase the surprisingly lush textures of my urban dreamscapes.
