35 Times UPS Drivers Were Lucky To Meet Dogs On Their Routes And Shared The Pics On This Group (New Pics)
During the worldwide pandemic, couriers and dogs became our best friends. They would bring joy and happiness into the comfort of our home where we’ve probably spent more time in the past year than the whole decade combined. So let's all give them a big round of applause!
And while we’re still clapping, let’s get some wholespiration from the widely popular UPS Dogs project that collects the most pawesome pics of couriers and the furry four-legged friends they meet en route.
After UPS driver Sean McCarren created a Facebook group to pay tribute to the furry friends seven years ago, the project gained somewhat of a cult following with 1.8M followers on their Facebook page. Except that these days, you see couriers posing with sheep, chickens, alpacas, you name it, since the furrier the merrier!
After you're done, don't forget to check out our previous posts with impawsibly cute UPS dogs here, here, and here.

To find out whether the UPS logistics company is familiar with the widely popular UPS Dogs project and what the company thinks about it, Bored Panda reached out to Dan McMackin from the UPS PR team who happily answered some questions.
“We are certainly aware of our drivers’ strong relationships with our customers and so many of our customers’ pets,” Dan said. “We bring people and businesses the things they need to live their lives and run their businesses. And some of those things include needed items for our customers’ pets.”

This old guy comes to work every day with his owner and has a bed in the tasting room of the winery. He is a happy and well cared for dog.
But when he hears my truck he runs to the door to be let out and then he runs up to my truck and starts shivering and whining and giving me the sad eyes like a Humane Society commercial on TV. All that is missing is Sarah McLachlan singing in the background. Such a phony!
When asked if the UPS is somehow involved with the project, Dan said that they “are not directly involved with the project you mention.” However, “we are aware of it and know how much our drivers’ relationships with people and pets matter,” he concluded.
My reputation for generous treat giving may have gotten out of hand. They are now bringing their friends with them.

Mandy barks like crazy when Carlos drives into the yard, she waits expectantly for him to step out of the truck!!
She offers her paw to shake and then she gets her treat!! ❤😀👍(Western ND)
In an interview with HuffPost, Sean McCarren, who created the widely popular FB group in 2013, said about his project: "When you're running into dogs all the time, it creates a bond when you see them every day. It's cool to meet some of the same dogs on the route, because they know who you are and they are excited to see you."
Initially, he started collecting the pics of dogs on his route, but after gathering more than 60 pics of them on his phone, he thought it’d be nice to share them online. Sean posted his collection on his personal Facebook profile, and “everybody got all excited about it, so I just went ahead and made a little Facebook page to share them all.”
Introducing “Kitty.” Kitty is a rescue from an abuse/neglect situation who is now living her best life in a loving home on a farm. A month ago she was terrified of me and could not be coaxed near the truck, even on a leash. Now look at the fearless and happy moocher she has become!
During the pandemic we came to know some delivery drivers. They are all a great bunch of people who really provide exceptional service to a few of my disabled neighbors.

After Sean established the Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter pages, other UPS drivers started posting dogs that they see on their travels delivering packages. But after the pages had been going steady for several years, the real craze began in 2017.
“It was crazy,” Sean commented for USA Today. “I just thought that it was a cool idea. I didn’t think that it was going to hit as hard as it did.” The success of UPS dogs can be attributed to the fact that “There’s no negatives, there’s no politics, it’s just feel-good photos that are fun to see pop up on your feed.”
Our regular UPS driver is leaving 😭.....
Sully wanted a picture with him.....
He was HAPPY with his treat though....and to get out of the truck! 😂

For those who’re wondering, the page isn’t officially associated with the UPS company, but they are happy that the posts show the joyful side of the courier job. Kim Krebs of UPS commented on UPS Dogs: “We have several dog-loving drivers with personal social media accounts dedicated to celebrating the pets they meet. These are great examples of the strong relationships UPSers build with their customers, both two- and four-legged, although these pages aren’t officially affiliated with UPS.”

THE DOUBLE BLEP!
This is our dog Bear. He’s 13 years old. We got him 11 years ago as a rescue. He was living with a homeless man in Chicago, Illinois who had to surrender Bear to allow the owner to go to a men’s shelter. He wanted him to go to a family with young kids. Bear was so used to eating fish out of the lake, it took us 6 months to get him used to eating dog food.

I love all these stories! I love these UPS drivers on their route. Thank you for sharing the love! 💘
He brought a Chewies box full of treats the family had ordered. The mailman brings bills which upset the family and the dogs sense that.
Load More Replies...How many dogs the drivers did not see.... those tethered in back yards 24 hours a day, every day, dying of thirst, hunger, and cold. Celebrate kindness, fight cruelty, please.
All our UPS driver did was sneak in our property during hunting season and kill and disembowel a deer...
