Everyone who is stuck in quarantine will start to feel bored at some point. That’s why it’s the perfect time to binge-watch all of the new TV series guilt-free. However, if you’re an aspiring fan of good series, chances are that you’re already running out of things to watch. But don’t worry, this graphic designer from Slovenia, Jure Tovrljan, has a great suggestion. The artist encourages people to rewatch some of the most popular TV series. After all, it’s probably has been years since you’ve seen them.

What if popular TV series had been shot during the pandemic? Here’s how graphic designer Jure Tovrljan imagines their posters would look like

In addition to reminding you of some of the greatest TV series, Tovrljan is sending a message on how our behavior can help prevent the spread of the virus and he does that by giving the posters of the series a COVID-19 treatment.

While in quarantine, Tovrljan, a 32-year-old proud father, soon-to-be husband, and a creative director tries to think of ways to have a positive impact on people’s lives. “[Quarantine] is rewarding in a way that the creatives might have some more time to think about projects like this and show something positive to the world,” he told Bored Panda.

Last month, the artist recreated some of the famous logos to reflect both on difficulties and the importance of social distancing. This time he decided to use posters of the famous series to talk about the most relevant issue that concerns all of us–the pandemic.

“I came up with the idea when I was binge-watching Friends for probably the 20th time. So I was thinking about how it would look like if they were shooting the show today. And I put them on a Skype meeting. That’s how the series started to develop,” he explained.

After recreating the very first poster, Tovrljan decided to make it into a series and designed another 7 of them. “I chose some of the most iconic shows that I really love and tried to raise awareness through entertainment. On one hand, I tried to get the most important epidemic messages across (social distancing, using proper protective gear, staying at home) and on the other bringing a little levity in these dark times, maybe giving someone an idea of which show to watch,” he said.

When asked about how the coronavirus pandemic has affected him, Tovrljan said: “It was a shock at first, but I somehow managed to adjust to this new way of living. I work from home, go out as little as possible and given that I have two 1-year-old boys at home, we have the greatest time of our lives.”

While Tovrljan does have much more free time due to the quarantine, his two sons are keeping him occupied. “Basically the only free time comes after they fall asleep. And that is when my wife and I find some time for an episode or two of Friends or Seinfeld. And if we’re really rested, sometimes even a whole movie,” he said.

The creative director, who carefully follows the COVID-19 preventative measures is staying hopeful that he will be able to go back to his normal life very soon. “Here in Slovenia, the measures to stop COVID-19 were quite strong and efficient. We took them seriously and followed them strictly. Right up until a week ago, when people came out of their caves for Easter. But I believe we’re past the critical point and normal life in on the horizon.”

ESPECIALLY the idiots who howl about "freedom" and won't self-isolate. How about other people's right to fewer chances for catching COVID-19?
