Toy Photography; Capturing Some Realism With Not Toys…but Action Figures!
I’ve been doing Toy Photography for almost 4 years now. It’s become a form of therapy where you can have complete control of what is going on in the situation you are creating. Sometimes in life we have no control of what’s going on but with this hobby I’m able to breathe. I am able to have creative control lighting, detail, and everything my imagination brings. I do Toy Photography in all different scales; some 1/6 (such as below), some 1/12, 1/18, and even some larger that can be actually 1:1 scale (ahem…Baby Groot) which all fully encompass this hobby & art form to no limit. Hope you like what you see and stay tuned for more!

Robocop
Robocop is one of my favorite Sci-Fi Characters from the 80s. Half Cop. Half Robot. Can you ask anything more 80s!?
This is the 1/6 Scale Masterpiece Edition from Hot Toys/Sideshow Collectibles.
Bearded Cap
We all remember when Captain America (Nomad) showed up with a beard in Avengers: Infinity War.

Erik Killmonger; Rightful King
Michael B. Jordan played an outstanding villian (?) in Black Panther; maybe one of the best villians in the Marvel Cinemative Universe in my opinion.
This headsculpt was custom-made & painted in Asia and shipped over to the states.

The Worthy Cap
I know we all went CRAZY when Cap did the (well…we were all expecting it) unexpected. I have a different Captain America figure which features a concept costume for Marvel Studios’ 10 year Anniversary.

I’m Star-Lord…Mannn
Chris Pratt brings Star Lord to life as Johnny Depp brought life to Jack Sparrow. This headsculpt is phenomenal.

Brotherhood
Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow have an iconic rivalry well known from G.I.Joe.
When I was able to get my hands on both of these figures coincidentally within a week of each other, I had to create a scene that could be memorable to those who are just as passionate with this characters as I am. I wanted to show this showdown that represents, “What happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.”

Snake Eyes II
Ninjas use stealth and stealth is what I wanted to capture with this shot. I wanted to capture, “quiet.”
