I Recreated Kim Kardashian’s Outfits In Two Ways, Proving There Are Only A Few Steps From Horrible To Perfect

Let’s face it – celebrities do know how to look perfect in pictures (when they want it), and they can seriously surprise their fans (when they want it). And Kim Kardashian West looks astonishing almost all the time (taste is not disputed, yes?). Even when this woman is wearing simple “Sports attire” or when she leaves the house and forgets to dress up – she is worth a million.

My name is Agne Jagelaviciute and I decided to take on a silly experiment: Is it really only personal physical properties that determine the final result? For this “creative joke”, I chose three of Kim’s looks and attempted to replicate them in the photos. By the way, I did it in two ways. First – I took the photos without any additional measures – no makeup, deliberately choosing plainest shots. Second – I took the photos with the same outfit, added some additional accessories, didn’t miss out on makeup, chose suitable lighting and of course, picked the best shots. The shots were slightly edited with “minimal slimming” app used by street photographers and there you go – the outcome!

When you know that there are only a few human steps from the horrid look to the finest result – a well-lit window, fine picked foundation or just a few clicks on the computer – life becomes easier. And most importantly… Underneath our shelves and clothes, lies our personalities, and they are beyond compare to any casual or formal clothes, they don’t need any special lighting to be unique and amazing. This applies to my inspiration Kim Kardashian as well. I am thankful for her daily ideas, surprises and above all – I am thankful for being a personality. Also thanks to “Adidas”, for proving that in the hands of a decent stylist it becomes timeless.
