Stress is a horrible part of our lives and we can’t always stop it. But these are top tips to stop the stress monster taking over your life. Because no matter what your life is worth it – so live it to the max.

1- slow down, life moves so fast and so does your brain. So just once in a while slow down and suck in the beauty behind everything be it a little flower or a tall tree.
2- keep calm, that angry bubble inside you is just a side effect of stress. The best thing to do is take 3 deep breaths and pop the bubble or blow it away
3- be positive, all kinds of things can stress us out. And sometimes we have no control over it. But no matter what there is always a silver lining. All you have to do is look on the bright side.
4- take it easy, if something is stressing you out and you can’t control it then just sit back and watch it unravel. Sometimes the best thing to do is let nature take its course.
5- unplug, social media is a huge part of our lives sometimes that can be adding to our stress. Sometimes you just need to get out of the habit of using it or just stop caring about what others say on it.
6- enjoy life, on this planet our days are numbered and we need to appreciate the beauty of the planet. Go out explore and tell your stories.
7- have fun, this one seems easy enough but when there is something that is seriously stressing us out it can be hard. Sometimes all we need to do is unwind.
8- breathe, this is one people throw around a lot but sometimes breathing is a fun way to calm down fast. Breathing exercises vary greatly and finding the right one for you is a good start.
9-relax, unwind do a hobby or enjoy something. Try and stay away from what is stressing you out.
10- go outside. This one is easy enough because nature is all around us. But go where you are happy and at peace. Be it a beautiful lake or a bustling shopping centre just enjoy it.
11-smile, when you smile you actually release a hormone in your body that makes your brain think you are happy so sometimes painting a fake one on is good for you.
12- Meditation, meditation is good for unwinding at the end of a busy day. It may seem cliche but it can make you very happy.
Music makes you feel good
Musical therapy or listening to your favourite music whilst doing the thing that stresses you out can help immensely because it makes you feel more comfortable. It is a good idea as well to go to bed listening to something be it some music or a audio book because it cools the nerves and makes it easier to let the brain shut off.
Write it down
Sometimes if you write down what’s bugging you, you can find peace with it. Write down what it is and why it’s stressing you out then either fold it up lots, rip it up or shred it. As you do this visualise the stress leaving you with every fold/rip.
Look at a picture that’s pretty or means something to you.
If you look at a picture that you find beautiful often you just relax a bit and then you enjoy things a bit more.
Let it all out
Let everything out. Have someone there to tell it to or just shout at a wall but a lot of the time it can help people put it past them.
Have faith
What ever happened or is happening can be solved and will pass one day. All you got to do is hope and never EVER GIVE UP. Your life is worth living no matter what.
