After They Found Out They Were Dating The Same Guy, These Three Girls Renovated A Bus And Traveled Together
InterviewHaving something in common with people is usually a good thing and makes getting to know someone way easier and much less awkward. But what about if the common thing between you and two more girls is a boy you’re all dating at the same time? You probably immediately said something like ‘yikes’—however, in this specific case of Bekah King, Abi Roberts, and Morgan Tabor, it’s still a good thing.
These three girls found out that the guy they were dating was a liar and cheater. Instead of hating each other, they decided to turn their life around and travel together. The girls found an old bus, renovated it, and are now traveling to America. They post their journey on social media and have become really good and close friends. Now that’s how you turn pain into strength.

The girls gave us an interview and told us about the situation with the guy that cheated on them: “The guy wasn’t as sneaky as he thought. Morgan found the first girl, Maliya, through social media. Upon some deep digging, she found her VSCO account, which was flooded with pictures that confirmed he had been cheating. Morgan and Maliya got to talking and were absolutely devastated. Then they found Abi through Instagram comments she had left on his posts. It wasn’t until after confronting him that we found/touched base with Bekah.”
And here’s how they confronted him: “Maliya, Morgan, and Abi hopped on a 6-hour-long FaceTime call to compare timelines, deconstruct, and process all the newfound information. Suddenly there was a rumbling outside and to Morgan’s dismay, the man himself was outside her house. He had left Abi’s apartment in Utah and gone straight to Morgan’s house in Idaho. She opened the door and there he was holding her favorite flowers with a big smile on his face. When he asked how her day had been she answered ‘my day has been great! I actually made some new friends!’ All while grabbing her phone and turning the screen to his face to show Abi and Maliya on the FaceTime call. He was absolutely floored.”
All of them broke up with him and decided to go on an adventure together

Here’s how the girls decided to travel together: “It was only a few days into us knowing each other that living on the road entered the conversation. We all had separate dreams of doing something of the likes, and when we found each other, it just seemed too good to be true. From there, our shared determination kicked into full throttle. We all desperately wanted to live out this dream so we said okay, you know what, let’s do it.”
They found an old school bus and made it their new home

It took about 2 and a half months to finish up getting the bus ready for great adventures. They made it very cozy and comfortable for them with all the necessities. There’s no shower, but the girls prefer swimming in lakes instead. The bus is also covered in all kinds of art and paintings. If you want to see more of the interior, go check out their TikTok account!
“We spent 2 and a half months renovating the bus. We got to work from day one of having the bus in our possession. It was the busiest time of all our lives. Bekah was working 50 hours a week, Morgan was holding 2 jobs and then moved homes, and Abi was commuting from Utah to Idaho all while a full-time college student and then moved to Boise with Tabor. So far we have been through Idaho, Wyoming, and Montana. We spent a decent amount of time in the Grand Tetons and it was such an amazing experience. We are only getting started with our journey!”

“We spent about $5,000 in total for the bus and the renovations. We did an incredibly simple build-out and were operating on an insane budget. It took us 2 and a half months to have the bus up and running and hit the road.”
They drew their plan and started working

“We are all getting along so well! We’ve all been saying this for a while, but we truly don’t think there’s anyone else we could live on a bus with! Collectively, we all had such beautiful experiences and memories made in the Tetons. There was one specific night where we piled 13 of our wonderful new friends into the bus and spent the evening listening to music, laughing, and playing games.”
All three girls thought that they were in a serious committed relationship with the guy

On their travels, the girls see some amazing nature: mountains, lakes, fields of flowers. They love taking pictures and just having fun. It’s quite inspiring to see someone uproot their life to go on such an amazing adventure. Resting from the world and its problems, finding out more about yourself and the people you are traveling with.
They were shocked when they found out that the guy they were in love with was dating all three of them at the same time

“Something we have felt passionate about is to prioritize feeling. And by that, we mean feeling all the good life has to give, but also the negative. You have to experience it all to know the difference. It is absolutely okay to slow down and feel the pain when life is hurting you. Of course, don’t wallow in it. But allow and give yourself permission to mourn, to cry, etc. Everyone is on their own timeline for healing and processing.”
But they made the best out of a bad and sad situation

These girls are the perfect example of how to deal when life sends you a difficult situation. They were all dating the same guy. They could have hated each other, they could have started fighting, feeling sad, and locked themselves in their homes for weeks. But instead, they decided to become best friends, live their best life and not let a boy ruin their lives.
They turned the bus into a comfortable and cozy living space

“This is Morgan sharing: Since hitting the road just about a month ago now, my life has changed infinitely. I feel more free and alive than ever. I am beyond blessed to have the opportunities I do and I do not take that lightly. I’m so excited to expand my horizons, learn and grow from life on the road, and be the best version of myself possible.”
Then they started their journey

Their story was covered by all kinds of television shows. The girls made videos on how exciting it was to be on TV and how otherworldly it felt. Their story inspired many people with how unconventional it is. Cheating significant others is nothing new, but it’s very cute to see the people that got cheated on come together and support one another.
They travel all over America, enjoying every single moment

Share on FacebookThis story has a bus made into a home. Living on the road. Travelling. Bunk beds. Best friend groups. This feels like a dream come true for me! Or an amazing novel or movie. Okay, who's coming with me?
Me too! I'll bring 100 pillows for a pillow fort!

Load More Replies...About as rich as any other young person that has the time and money to tour the country. You can buy a 2nd or 3rd hand school bus for under $10,000, this one could have been a school bus before it was turned into a fire crew bus so it may have been much cheaper. Looks like they used lumber to do their own interior, they didn't use any expensive RV type equipment so the interior wood could have cost them less than $1000. Fuel would have been a big expense, that school bus probably gets around 6 miles per gallon, so 6000 miles crisscrossing the country may have cost them $3000 or more.
Load More Replies...It never made sense to me why the women were always pitted against each other, instead of uniting against the worthless horndog who was cheating on—-and with—-all of them. So this, to me, is incredibly refreshing.
To me too!! I felt really happy reading the story and seeing the pictures. Way to go, ladies!
Load More Replies...I hope that long haired girl leaning over the power saw in the picture was just posing and wasn't actually running that saw with that long hair. Getting hair stuck in power equipment is no joke - she should have tied her hair back (throwing her hair over her shoulder is not the same thing), and ideally wouldn't be wearing shorts and open toed shoes.
If it is true it makes a nice change that the women don't take it out on each other - always frustrates me when women fight over some git of a man. Or vice versa.

There are four names floating around here, but only three girls... and the story isn't that consistant. What's the deal?

Load More Replies...I love this! They look like great friends now, and I wish I could join them, lol
I think this is great however I bet they had assistance remodeling the bus.
