This Girl Moved To The Caribbean To Become A Mermaid

Kelly Hygema, more so known as Mermaid Kelly moved to the Caribbean island of St Thomas, USVI. She started her mermaid journey 4 years ago once discovering that mermaids DO exist!

Mermaid of Grace & Beauty

Mermaid Kelly has always had a love for the ocean and creatures that reside in the coral reefs. She wanted a place sunny year round with calm, peaceful waters. She found St Thomas on vacation and had a mutual friend who also lived there!

The Move That Changed Her Life

After moving, she found out she had family that had been on the island for a couple years! After making new friends and getting settled she continued on her mermaid way. She finally found her home.

Mermaids of the Caribbean

She wasn’t the only mermaid to find her home. Many other strong and beautiful mermaids live on the island. Kelly states she would love to join the mermaids together as an island mer-fam!

A Life To Dream About

Mermaid Kelly hopes to inspire other mermaids to follow their dreams. It only takes a little hard work, a little effort, and a lot of love! She said she will continue creating content worth viewing and follow her dreams as an influencer & entertainer both on island and online!
