Things Said To Or About My Adopted Daughters

I have tried to explain to my daughters that people do not say these things to be mean, they say them out of ignorance, which is why I am sharing some of them.

Words are powerful, they can become tools or weapons, choose to use them wisely. Kim Kelley-Wagner

😢❤️ I was adopted too, not from another country. I have heard all the comments that are not about China and more. I still have to explain that my real parents are the ones who love me and raised me. Sometimes often to the same few people. Inlaws especially. Close minded people don't get it. It is so hard that those beautiful babies have to go through it too. I'm sending my love to your family. Unfortunately our society will put those girls through torture with their awful questions their whole life. I personally think people who adopt, and or have to wait a long time for their kids love them more than the nine-month-genetically-similar kids. Lots of my friends were accidents, I was loved by a family who waited years for me.
