That is so true. The fruit harvests are going to be in serious trouble as they have always relied on the itinerant laborers to harvest their crops. They are the very same idiots who beat the tRump drums but they are realizing that they will have to pay REAL money to bring in their fruit. There won't be enough people wanting to do the work of immigrants. In the Netherlands the PVV wants to chuck out all working migrants (mainly farming, tourism) and expats (mainly technical or administrative businesses), because they steal work and houses from the Dutch. Many farmers and owners of the meat industry voted for the PVV, very well being aware of the agenda. The day after it became clear that PVV got the most votes (but has to share the government with three other parties due to how elections work here), they were in panic, because it is impossible to run their businesses cost-efficient without the dead cheap seasonal workers from the east. Now they hope that the government will soften that rule. About 70% of all agricultural produce is exported, if they have to employ Dutch workers with Dutch workers rights, everything will be so expensive that nobody will buy it, neither national nor international. This is, if they can find enough Dutch people willing to do that work.

Every 10 years or so, a farm or farm labor group will put out for applications for farm labor. Legit applications for legit work. Of the few people who are interested, even less of them have experience. This is then run in the paper as surprising news.

I'd say it depends on context -Throwing everyone out that isn't native or has certain features would be madness, sending people back home that are a danger to the society that took them in would be acceptable in my opinion (Criminals to be precise)

It won't happen in any significant volume. It would require far too much federal spending, far too much federal hiring of new workers, and far too much time. Trump's term will end (joyfully!) in four years and we'll yo-yo again to a Democrat and this nonsense will be stopped in its tracks.

I think this person is reading into it a bit too much… For those in first world countries, life can get boring and feel sanitized. A zombie apocalypse would be the opposite and force people to use survival skills rather than typing or going to a meeting. I’m not saying I want a zombie apocalypse, but that’s my take.
