We need to remember everyone has different experiences. Things you learned growing up are relative. I never knew until I was in my thirties that the refrigerator door hinges could be moved. Now it seems obvious but it had just never come up before. Everyone doesn't own an instant pot, or have the same hangovers, or regularly use a cooler for things. Don't be a jerk - people have different experiences.

Theres plenty of 30 year old women who pretty hopeless domestically by some standards. . .ive worked with nurses who have never cooked a meal in their lives, dont have kitchen utensils and whose houses are a domestic nightmare. The filrhiest house i ever saw was one owned by achild services supervisor who inspected facilities for child care. Very few male nurses knew how to iron clothes because they were never taught the skill, plenty of female nurses are absolute slobs at home . . . . .its easy to laugh but if you arent taught these tip, teicks and skills then how can you be expected to know them . . . . . hell, ive been a gym goer for over 40 years but i still come across young men and women who dint know how to form, plan or implement a workout simply because whilst everyone ASSUMES this generation is oh so internet savvy, many arent and dont know how to 'research' a topic. . . . . . another thing to take into consideration is the cordoning off of some skills like car maintenance.

This is the average 30 year old of a child with shitty parents. Most of his claims are verified bullshit and the others that are true, I learned when I was about 9.

Maybe he’s a 30 yr old who has been drunk or stoned for many years and lost years of being productive at home or being around functional adults. People can get emotionally stunted because of the years lost while high, maybe functional “adulting” development stalls too.

I had the exact same thought! Almost all of this is on page one of the products' manual. I don't understand how people can buy something and not read the manual.
