The headphones thing happened to me. I was 13. Listening to my CD player at the park while watching the kids I was babysitting. I had the 6mo old in her stroller napping, the 9 year old sitting beside me reading, and the 6 year old swinging 5 feet away with his 12 year old brother who helped watch them. We were all just enjoying a beautiful spring Saturday and then some crazy lady showed up. She stomped over to me and grabbed my headphones and ripped them off my head before screaming about irresponsible mothers not watching their kids and how they should be in school (& it was Saturday!). I was so shocked I just stared at her for the longest time. No clue why she thought it was possible for a 13 year old kid to have 9 year old, 6 year old, and 6mo old kids. Assuming she thought the eldest was the father? Idk. I told her to get lost.

The Tim Hortons was one of the few that really struck a nerve because I've encountered people who have issues with people minding their business, listening to music quietly with earphones in peace, out of the way of others because they aren't appearing social. Listening to these busybodies yabber about it and I still don't have a clear understanding why it matters to them so much. The one about mental heath classes being in school, that religious nut reply just made me laugh. LOL what a world we live in now.
