The “Wow!” Effect Or My Graduation Project With Dry Pastels, Which I Spent 3 Months On.
I created a series of pastel works “The Key to music”. Each still life had its own meaning. But, of course, my inspiration and pastel technique unite my works. Since the works have a large size of 60 * 80, it was necessary to study in detail the notes, beads and other objects. Therefore, at the last stage of the work, I used either a brush moistened with water, or already watercolor paints. It took me one month to work on the violin. The second mandolin work took 3 weeks. The ukulele drawing took 2 weeks and finally the balalaika work took 1 week!
