I Made A Ted-E Talk To Inspire People To Donate And Raise $1,000,000 For Epilepsy Research To Help My Daughter And The 250,000 Australians With Epilepsy.
Last year, I shared a story about trying to find a philanthropist to buy a teddy bear for a million dollars to raise money for Epilepsy research, to try and help understand why my daughter Lila developed it.

Sadly, I haven’t succeeded. Yet. Because, if there’s one thing my daughter has taught me, it’s to never, ever, ever give up.
So, I’ve changed how I’m hoping I can raise the $1,000,000.
I’m asking people to SHARE IN THE BEAR. And inspiring people to chip in a bit of money to try and help the 250,000 Australians with epilepsy.
That’s 1% of our country that have this neurological disorder. A condition that is hardly ever talked about, and barely understood.
So, to do that, I have created a “TEDe Talk” that pays homage to those inspirational TED Talks we have all seen.
In it, I recount the worst meal of my life- the night I was out for dinner with my family and Lila collapsed to the floor mid-conversation with a series of massive convulsions.
