The Last Jedi Tribute Poster

Excited with anticipation for The Last Jedi, I began this project late last year before the movie hit theaters. Having only done a couple crosshatch pieces before tackling this one, I took my time to get it as close to perfect as possible…playing with more elegant line combinations than before, more complex and subtle details, and texture play. After a lot of trial and error, six months later, and having seen the movie several times, I finished my Star Wars: The Last Jedi tribute poster.

My must-have scenes I wanted to include were the force pull scene at the end of the Throne Room battle and Luke’s last, as he gives himself up to the Force. I did get the dual suns in there, but it may not be obvious, as the second is framing the Star Wars logo. And yes, I did sneak in a few porgs in the cliffs :)

I hope you enjoy! If you dig the work, feel free to visit my Society6 page for prints and other cool stuff.
