I was dreaming for some years to go to Fundatura Ponorului, that is also called “The hand of God”. The name of “The hand of God” is not arbitrary because is a magical place.

It`s located in Sureanu Mountains, in Gradistea Muncelului-Cioclovina Natural Park that is a protected area (natural park category V IUCN) situated in Romania, in Hunedoara County.

Here you don`t have phone network, no electricity and if you want to stay over night the only option is to sleep at the million star hotel( your tent :D )

Only a few people are living here. Everyone moved to bigger cities.

For every nature/photography lover this is magic. This place is on the edge of extinction.
