The Fear Jar Project: I Express My Negative Feelings And Emotions Through Photography
I’ve been passionate about photography ever since I put my hands on a DSLR when I was 17-years-old. I believe that photography was the element that kept my tears away from all the bullying, fears, negative emotions and breakdowns I have started being aware of since I became a teenager.
With my best friend’s Bianca V. help, I was able to transpose those negative feelings, emotions, memories into photos. I have used a jar full of stones and pebbles in order to create a metaphor of my life, of my experiences – despite being heavy, the pebbles inside a transparent container makes something beautiful, just like life.
Each of the shots were carefully framed and have individual names according to the feeling I aimed to transpose through it.
