Took this trip in late January, 2016. It’s the first time I’ve finally gone to the Ground Zero memorial, to see how grandiose it is. It’s also a very conflicting place for me. I didn’t know how I should feel – in awe of the spatial design and architecture, or very sad because of so many people losing their lives. I gravitated towards the latter.
The Eagle
Santiago Calatrava, the designer of the sculpture at the Ground Zero in NYC, was inspired by the idea of a child releasing a dove into the air. I see an eagle.
Battery Park Sunset
New Jersey
Battery Park overlooking New Jersey, the land close to anything and thrice as cheap.
9/11 Memorial
It’s more impressive than I had let myself to believe before I saw it.
