How does incorporating words and text impact an artist’s work? The Art of Language, a pioneering virtual art exhibit, offers a unique exploration of how textual and visual elements can interact to create a profound narrative experience. Hosted by the Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut and curated by Lisa D’Amico PhD, this innovative exhibit allows viewers to engage with a form of artistic expression that transcends the limitations of traditional media.
The Art of Language delves into the complex interplay between textual content and visual representation, showcasing how words and letters can elevate visual art. Thirty-one artists, each skilled in various mediums, push their creative boundaries and compose dynamic dialogues between the two elements.
The Cultural Alliance of Western Connecticut led by Executive Director, Lisa Scails is dedicated to fostering innovation and expanding artistic expression while offering opportunities for artists and audiences to connect in meaningful ways.
The Art of Language exhibit will be on view from August 22nd through November 21st. Visit www.cawct.org/gallery.
