The 5 Most Crucial Life Lessons My Pitbull Dog Dina Taught Me (32 Pics)

Some people underestimate the power of friendship with a dog. They have no idea that it’s eternal love and life lesson that makes us better people.

Dina and her puppy long ago. The puppy has an owner now

Let me tell you that I was born and live in a country called the Republic of North Macedonia. I have had the opportunity to travel to more than 20 countries, including the United States. I have met many people, and I have learned from everyone. However, I have learned from my Pitbull Dog “Dina” more than everyone. First, I want to give you some information.

Meet Dina!

Dina is enjoying the nature

My dog is an American Pit Bull Terrier. She is a female, and Her name is Dina. She is currently 9 years old. She lives with me in an apartment in Skopje, the capital of my country. Her mother’s name was Sarah. She was beautiful like her daughter but was used for fighting. And her father and her whole lineage too.

First, my brother Viktor wanted to buy a pit bull but didn’t have money. It was my prom period with gifts and all that stuff. I was rich during those times. After many discussions, I decided to give him money. My parents were very much against that decision. My Father didn’t feel ready for keeping a dog and threatened that he will throw her out. However, I and my brother were persistent in our decision. Now my father is the one who walks with Dina every morning without any regret.

From an early age, she showed what her dog race is, even her lineage too. I couldn’t believe it. Although she was still very young, my brother wanted Dina to be scary and to behave like a pit. He raised her very wrongly in the beginning. In a way, he was her first boss. The rule is that the pit bull does not separate from the first boss. But the dog felt anger and rage many times. She has always been calm and sweet at home and with people. But not with other dogs, especially females.

When I was in the United States, the dog got sick. It was painful the whole time I was there. When I returned, she instantly got better and became fully healed. Later we all traveled alternately and lost the order of who is the first boss because we all walked with her. Dina no longer felt that way.

After 2-3 years, when she turned 5, I started walking with her more often. My brother got married, moved, bought a Doberman, and named him Gladys. We live close to each other. Now Dina has a friend and my brother changed raising tactics due to past mistakes and implemented them on the Doberman.

So, I have been sleeping with her for 4 years, and I still do. I walk 15 km every day and we do not separate from each other. She became my life companion. I educated myself very much. I did a lot of practice. I gave my whole heart to change her in what I felt for her from the very beginning.

Now she hangs out with every child, baby, man, woman, and dog without any problem. I do not have the complex to be the first boss. On the contrary. For example, when I run, I leave her to play longer with other people and dogs. But she knows that I always return, and I know that she always follows me. I worked hard to gain mutual trust. I impose the same model everywhere and with everyone. I enjoy. When she comes home, she eats and sleeps like slaughtered! She is very happy and healthy. My goal is to break the 20-year-old pit bull living record.

What have I Learned from Dina?

Dina is focused on the left image and sleepy on the right one

The blending of our souls helped me to learn more about life, God, love, and the purpose of our whole existence. I selected the best 5 Lessons:

1. Unconditional Love.

God can speak everywhere and in everything. As Jesus himself said, “If you listen well, the donkey will speak to you.” This is especially true for people who struggle with depression, or who lost their faith like me. God loves you and all his creatures unconditionally, remember that. Infinite and unconditional love until the end of time is essential for relationships. The dog loves his owner unconditionally. By sharing life with a dog, it means that one human being reserved the best teacher to learn that lesson.

2. Self-Worth.

Dina is a pit bull, but I think that all Dogs can be a lot to handle. But responsibility helps our mental health and we build our self-esteem by taking ownership and applying skills to a specific task. Also, it offers reassurance that we can care for another creature as much as for ourselves. That’s how we value ourselves and gain more respect from others. Lineage is not crucial in life, but powerful will and love. Because they are sweet and playful, we become the same.

After that, we show to children, babies, fathers, and mothers an example of self-worth. Dogs show us that, sometimes a fight is necessary, and when a conflict is inevitable, we should strike first. They are not afraid of death, and neither should we. Sometimes you have to be kind, but sometimes you have to be stubborn and fight till the end. Even, with enemies, there must be some kind of moral tone and ethics of behavior, even at the cost of death. But in that case, dignity is important.

3. Socializing.

Dogs make us walk them every day. This means that constantly, we will see some people with dogs and some who only love to caress them. All of this indicates how many people we can meet and have wonderful communication with. Sharing the same interests and love.

With a dog, we already have a friend. And when we go out, friendship is without limit. We also learn not to divide people into lineage, pedigree, rich, poor, black, and white but divide them into either good or bad. Dogs taught us that actual communication and true friendship matter. Soul connection and sometimes silence even more. It is the speech of hearts.

4. Embracing Life.

For dogs, life is all about enjoyment and freedom, not about exhibitions and reputation. For them, money is not all things, but blessed life lets them feel as if they have all things. Other dogs as much as Dina loves to sleep, to watch the sky and nature, or just to have a nap. Dreams and sleeping are not a waste of time. They are a huge blessing and enjoyment. Dogs know how to enjoy the little things. This is a hugely important lesson to be implemented into human lives.

5. Daily Exercise Routine.

Dogs help us to lead a healthy and active life. They have a lot of energy. They have biological needs. They want to walk, to play. It is necessary to train them. It gives us the responsibility and the task to make them happy and to make ourselves satisfied. While we can enjoy watching their playing, we can use that schedule to practice or run with them.

The daily routine, like exercise with dogs, helps us to reduce stress, to improve sleep, and overall health. Some research shows that just playing with dogs increases oxytocin and dopamine, and with it, positive feelings and happiness. People who keep dogs have lower blood pressure and a significantly lower chance of having a heart attack. Everyday life with a dog helps us to be intuitive, fast, and tireless.

I must admit that the implementation of these lessons is alive. It is not done once and for all. You live that every day. I learn a lot from Dina, from observing how she behaves when everyone is silent and does not pay attention to her. Then, how does she behave when there are a lot of people? When she’s out. When with other dogs. To be precise, the things she loves have a lot of influence.

What Does Dina love?

Dina loves the 3 things that every dog loves, but her love for those things is more. She loves to eat, walk and play, and sleep. Also, she is an amazing and irreplaceable friend. She loves people, especially children, and babies. Dina loves little puppies very much.

She loves to eat everything except garlic, onion, and spicy foods. She walks a lot every day. If she could choose, she would go more on just to play. She sleeps too much. She likes to enjoy all the pillows and beds. Also, she loves to hug and kiss too much.

I talk to her like a person. Dina does not distinguish between races and pedigrees. She does not judge. Sometimes she plays even more with mixed dogs or stray dogs.

She doesn’t like to be alone. When she is alone, she doesn’t make a mess. Besides that, she is a real guard.

It is never enough to describe how much you can gain from having a dog. But be sure that, Dina is sending you regards because she loves you. Be sure that everything can become better, and God can speak through everything if we hear well.

Hello Pandas! My name is Ieva, though it's often mistaken for the word 'Leva,' and in Lithuanian, it means 'loser' (insert the pain emoji). While I don't take offense if you accidentally call me a loser, I thought I'd share something interesting with you, which I also do professionally at work.Anywayyy, my favorite part here is introducing you to creative people who deserve just as much recognition as famous celebrities. Besides that, I also enjoy memes and funny, lighthearted posts, and occasionally, I find myself drawn to a bit of internet drama.
