Hello again, it’s me, Bananaman. As you already know, bananas are part of my life. I love to eat them and I love my work in the banana research world.
While working, I’m also doing some cool pictures and some art with bananas that you might also enjoy. Probably there are facts of the bananas that you have never heard or seen before. Like for instance… bananas with seeds, Bonsai bananas, hydroponic bananas, or maybe red bananas, banana flowers… so many things. Here just a bite of it.

Bananas are not trees, they are actually the biggest herbs on earth. These two bananas have exactly the same age. Since they are not trees they have no stem. When we remove all the leaves this is what you get. It is called corm or rhizome. Looks like an onion right?
