Hi there! I am a digital cross stitch pattern designer. Usually I know exactly how to decorate the finished project – in a frame or hoop. But with this tree I can’t decide which is better. How do you think?

But there are patterns that are good for hoops:

Hey there, Pandas! My name is Diana (though some prefer to refer to me as Diane, Deanna, and even Liana sometimes), and I am a Community Post Moderator Lead for Bored Panda. As my position title states, I am one of the people (employed Pandas for bamboo) over here who work with the community side of things on this website to ensure all is well, and while at that, I also help various creators and artists get recognition for the incredible work they do by connecting them to a large worldwide audience. Other than that, outside of work, you can find me brewing a nice cup of coffee, making a pizza from scratch, or baking brownies. I also love traveling, concerts, and cats (heavy on that, because I am a cat mom).

I think that the round frame is better, it's like a prolongation of the tree where the squared frame kinda trap it inside (and the round frame is in wood so it's also a nice link with the tree)

I notice you don’t use glass and mats in your frames. How do you keep your creations, in either hoops or frames, clean? Thanks.

Hello! I do not use glass in frames only when I take photographs (so as not to reflect ☺). Then I insert glass into the frame

I like hoop in this case. Maybe as some people said a round frame, but I like the rustic, natural feeling the hoop gives, it compliments the subject, a tree, very well. It also works better with the negative space leading the eye into the subject. A square frame clashes and not in a good contrasting way.
