How A Doctor Became Internationally Selling For Combining Two Country Favourites
Artist Liz Murray had an online following for seascapes and landscapes whilst working as a medical doctor for over 6 years. After breaking her leg she was forced to revisit a less physically demanding style of painting and sat down to paint in watercolours; combing two great loves of the country – wellington boots and pheasants. After the first painting of that pheasant in wellies went viral, a country collection of quintessential favourites in tweed caps and wellies was born. Since then her limited edition collection has become internationally selling. Liz left the medical profession and now has her own gallery in Norfolk working on new pieces and private commissions.
Live A Life Of Art® is a trademark of Liz’s company LALOA® which has taken her artwork to a new level. Taking original art and creating fabric and interiors that celebrate art in other forms. Mr & Mrs Country is now enjoyed in limited edition prints, cushions and wallpaper, with old spot taking his wellington boots to a mug for breakfast time across the world.
