I Am A Teacher And I Create Comics About The Struggles Of Teaching Children (76 Pics)
Hey class! I’m Ms. Mojo Rose, and I create teacher comics. I first started getting ideas for my comic strips when I was earning my credential in 2013. I imagined little kids chanting songs about my bad lesson plans and twerking during flag salute. I was, very clearly, sleep-deprived.
The sleep never really came back to me, but more drawing ideas did. After a post blew up on Reddit, I created an official “Summers Off” Instagram and dedicated my time to growing the page into one of the top teacher jokes and comics online today. To my surprise, not only could school teachers relate to these cartoon drawings, but parents and students could as well.
So now, I present you with 76 of my webcomics that helped me stay sane as I navigated through the triumphs, heartbreaks, and headaches of teaching elementary school children.

parent's signature for SCIENCE, about YOUR BODY!! WTF this is terrible, I hope teachers can help explain this and parents help her at home, sometimes when you have trouble at school a teachers support is more important than a parents and THIS is so not okay.
Parent signature for science!? wtf? This is your body that you're talking about. She needs help not a science lesson.
It's because they are 9 and you don't learn it then

As a teacher of 10 years, I can vouch for it. You don't have time to read the latest approaches, strategies, ideas, etc during term time. Holidays give you a chance to read and plan with minimal interruptions.

I don't know whether he is lying or not but I am going to say this anyway: I feel like we all did something like this when we were little and still in school, like saying something like "My dad was sick so I had to take care of him cuz my mom was at work etc.etc." to make the teacher feel bad for you.

Haha, loved them! On the other hand, I don't want to sound arrogant or mean, but I'm really amazed at how badly the American school system seems to be struggling. I understand that things may have been exaggerated for comic needs, but in my school in France, we had extra equipment, replacement parts when needed, current world maps, ... and no cockroaches. And, at least that was my impression, the teachers could still comfort the students without asking the parents' opinion beforehand...
oh wow that's awesome! At my school (America) we have extra paper and pencils, but I know my teachers would basically white-out the old map, we have a bug problem but we can't get an exterminator. Teachers are "allowed" to comfort the student but they cannot touch them unless the student is leaving the school (hugs). Our school system is pretty messed, up majority of my teachers had to use their own money in order to get the proper supplies needed for the classroom.
