Sphynxes (hairless cats) fascinate me in many ways. I’m drawn by their alien look. There’s something disturbing yet eerie that keeps me astonished every time I look at one.
Without fluffy and fancy coats, this breed shows what a true cat is. Everything is raw, exposed, vulnerable.
This body of work is an exploration of the beauty of Sphynxes within their oddity.

I had an oriental that also looked like a giant rat but maybe the fur helped lessen the blow. :D They're oddly lovely cats.

We have 3 sphynx and they're like our children. Such sweet personalities and so loving!! Amazing breed ❤️

No, they really don't need them, especially if they're indoor-only cats -- as Sphynxes must be!

Nothing disturbing what so ever about Sphynx cats. They are gorgeous babies. I love my baby girls Mabel and Brin just as much as my three furry cats. (More, to be honest.)

The pink girl is the baby of my mamma cat! :-) I love the pictures. Great shots! Where did you find the Donskoy? I have a male Don at home.
They are beautiful in their own way, I like particularly the photo with the open paw. People should not try to touch them in shows though.
Something from my nightmares yet oddly awesome to see at the same time.?
They r probably the only cat breed I dislike. Yet, if it came to rescuing a sphinx, I would do so and would give it all my love.Great pics

They have a natural genetic mutation. They don't survive in the wild, but they weren't genetically engineered, just cared for by humans.
