I have no words

I had no idea of this and am so sad for those involved. I wish they had the help from their government that we are blessed with in the US. I am sure we are sending aid but it is never enough and the government's usually cannot be trusted to spend it on what it was meant to go to... which is the people for humanitarian assistance.

Yes, people care and they are saddened when they see anyone suffering. While many are struggling here in the States to find a way to survive, our thoughts tend to float towards our localities first. But human kindness does exist and our hearts are not closed from other countries and people.

There are 3 species of croc in this region along with 3 species python and 2 species cobra and 2 species of viper and 2 of krait and a variety of other water and tree snakes. There are also 2 species of monitor lizards.
