Earlier this week, my 5 year old cousin from England came over here (Ireland) for a couple of weeks. As a treat for him, we went to go safari, which is an indoor adventure playground type thing. He went off, happy, while I sat at the parents area and watched. Now, as a complete coincidence, another child I know was there as well. Now, the child has autism, and not to be disrespectful, but it’s obvious. So, he was in the playground, happy out because he met someone that he could play with. They were messing and he accidentally hurt the child, not on purpose or anything. But the other child’s mother was watching. And she saw it happen she got her husband to collect their child while she wend into the children’s playground, dragged out the child with autism, and clipped him in the side of the head. Hard. She wasn’t his mother and she hit him. I later found his own mother crying because of the incident. I just think some people are incredibly ignorant and I wanted to share this in hope that it will make sure it doesn’t happen again.
