My 20 Pics Of My Neighbors Having Fun In Their Homes During The Coronavirus Pandemic
After a very long and cold Indiana winter, I couldn't wait to get back to taking pictures of people again. Then the world was taken over by the Coronavirus. I locked myself inside the house with my family and canceled all my photoshoots. Being a stay-at-home mom not much had really changed except for not being able to hang out with my amazing neighbors that we have grown so close to over the years. We live in a cul-de-sac where there are 18 kids. They all spend so much time playing together either outside or at each other's houses, that they are having a very hard time with the quarantine.
All over the world, people are being compelled to practice social distancing. We are trying desperately to remain sane in a world that seems to be bordering on the insane. With having so much free time on my hands, I had come up with this idea. Having a Cedar Lake Centennial subdivision Facebook page made my vision that much easier to achieve. Everyone was happy to participate as it gave them something new to look forward to as opposed to only e-learning or watching TV.
The weather has finally cooperated enough to take some pictures from far far away! I had asked them to make some posters and dress however they wanted and to let me know when they were ready. Two of my friends were in a minor accident and decided to join me in my project to "make light of their situation" to show that even when the world seems to be so dark, all you have to do is add some light. It was such a nice break to be able to be back in my element again. I love taking pictures! I hope you enjoy my quarantined, covid-19 project.

Send Vodka, I Need It For Cleaning
Tip, though: vodka is usually only around 80 proof, or 40% alcohol. To kill coronavirus you need 70% or higher, such as isopropyl alcohol you would use to disinfect a wound. Otherwise you're mostly just moving the virus back and forth as you wipe. Be safe, all.
